Beautiful traditional Japanese house. Spacious with all the amenities you could need to feel like you are at home. The views of Mt Fuji are amazing from the upstairs bedrooms. Walking distance to train/bus station and lots of eateries near by. Would definitely recommend to anyone - especially families or groups.

“A wonderful short stay in Ori Ori house.”

It was a lovely cosy house for the 8 of us. Everything was immaculately clean and well equipped especially the kitchen crockery utensils. The host were very nice and thoughtful to provide us Japanese tit bits too!

Super place. So relaxing, a welcome pack with nibbles was lovely, really comfy beds.

Everything! This is the perfect place to stay for being central in fujikawachuiko and have the best view. First the communication with the host was brilliant. They always answered quickly. Was easy to find from the train station, just a few minutes walk. Close to shop. Was perfectly clean. Two toilets. Great kitchen, well equipped. Laundry facilities were so helpful as I had been travelling for 2 months so needed more laundry doing. Rooms are clean and up to date but still authentically Japanese. The beds were so comfy. Balcony with Mt Fuji view was perfect. Just spent our time looking at mt Fuji which luckily was in perfect view and had lovely weather. Felt safe as 2 women here. Generally quiet. Bikes were great as able to cycle to the lake. Would definitely return. We wanted to move in. Recommend!!! Do not miss out on staying here. Was dreamy.

The room is perfectly equipped with heating, and the landlord is very helpful. The balcony offers a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. If the kitchen also has heating, that would be even better. Thank you so much 🥰

Such a delightful experience it was to spend the Christmas holiday in this house. The window view of the house is breathtaking—Mount Fuji is literally right in front of your eyes. The beds are soft and comfy, and all of our family got a soothing sleep to gear up for the exciting sightseeing the next day. Even the hair products provided here are surprisingly good, adding a lovely little touch to our stay. We definitely want to come back and stay here again.

Everything was extremely amazing. Easy check-in and check-out, clear instructions from the hosts, very comfortable and cozy atmosphere. This place is wonderful, clean and has everything for the cooking (including sauces and spices), laundry etc. It was an amazing experience to live in the house with tatami. Aghh.. and, of course, one of the most excited thing is...breathtaking view from the balcony on the Mt. Fuji. Just highly recommend to stay in Ori Ori.

We only stayed one night at this property while travelling through Japan, and honestly, that was the only regret—we wish we had stayed longer! Out of the five locations we visited, this was by far the best property we experienced. Everything was perfect: the location was excellent, the air conditioning was a dream (especially in the summer heat), and the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable—a rare find! What truly stood out was the attention to detail. Nothing was overlooked when it came to our needs, and everything was thoughtfully prepared to make our stay seamless and enjoyable. Travelling with two teenagers can be a challenge, but even they agreed—this was the best place we stayed. That says it all! Thank you for making our short stay such a memorable one. We’ll definitely be recommending this property to friends and family, and we hope to return one day for a longer visit!

Felt better than at home. Spick and span. Excellently well furnished and fully equipped kitchen with oil，sauces，pots and cutlery. Soft comfy beds and big toilets. Host is very hospitable with free coffee and yummy welcome chocolate crunch.

“Great stay at Lake Kawaguchiko”

It's a lovely little house, with all the amenities you need as a family. We even had a chance to try out sleeping on a tatami. There were good manuals in English for all the machines! The kids really appreciated the balcony and hanging out there. It's an excellent location for all the things you can do around Lake Kawaguchiko. I actually wish we could have had a few more nights, to relax even more.

I loved everything about it! Really comfortable for 4 people. The beds were incredibly soft and comfortable (i want one for myself lol.) If i come back to Fuji, I would definitely want to stay here again. Theres an abundance of blankets, pillows, towels and kitchen utensils. Utilities were great, and there are streaming services available (netflix, disney+ etc). I love that I could wash my clothes and theres a dryer too. I also like that the toilet has those overnight clothes drying settings. Also love that theres a bin in every room. The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful, and super convenient to walk anywhere. I like that the stairs were not those super steep and narrow kind, unlike a lot of other homes.
