It's a very good place to relax, and they provide free bicycles to ride the lake, and the staff help me find my lost and send me the package. All in all, it's very worthwhile to live in.

“Cozy stay in Kawaguchiko”

I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kawaguchiko! Even though we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji from our room and the location is a bit away from the main tourist area, we still had an incredibly comfortable and enjoyable stay. We immediately felt at ease thanks to how clean, stylish, and cozy everything was. The owner was friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful. At check-in, they took the time to ask about our preferences and walked us through a hand-drawn map, sharing lots of thoughtful recommendations. We also made great use of the complimentary bicycles which are accommodated by house during our stay. Riding along Lake Kawaguchi was such a memorable experience, and we especially loved having a picnic by the lakeside. Since the local buses tend to be crowded and infrequent, getting around by bike made everything easier and allowed us to enjoy our time much more fully. Another thing we really appreciated was the calm and respectful atmosphere among the guests. We were able to relax and unwind in a peaceful environment, away from the crowds. During our trip, we visited a day-use hot spring at another hotel, but unfortunately, the experience there was quite disappointing—some guests left trash like shower caps behind and didn’t seem to respect shared spaces. That contrast made us appreciate this place even more. Personally, I would recommend booking a private Japanese-style room rather than a dormitory. We really valued having our own space, and the futon was incredibly comfortable. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!

The house is near the lake and bikes are real plus

Such a nice stay, away from the most touristy streets, lovely rooms and common areas to chill and relax. (Free coffee and tea) Amazing biking around the lake with the bikes you can rent for free! Lovely host family!

Great place to stay - nice shared accommodation with friendly staff. The free bike hire was also great as we were able to cycle round the lake! We stayed In the camping room as a couple - lots of space and very unique room to sleep in - loved it. Great view of Mt Fuji as well!

There was a spacious living area and a balcony with a view of mount Fuji. You're even allowed to borrow bikes for free! Lot's of local places nearby like an onsen and cool restaurants.

Quirky tent style room with beautiful views of Mount Fuji. Super close to lake Kawaguchi, which was great to run/ride the bike around. The owner was lovely and had made a great map of all the surrounding attractions and restaurants to make our stay even better.

Location

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Bed was the comfiest bed in five months of hostels across Asia. Being able to borrow a bike and explore the nearby towns and lakes near Fuji was a dream.

The atmosphere there is lovely, the beds were big and confortable, everithing was clean. Excellent location also and I reccomend to use their free bicycle service to look around. I hope to come back to this hostel

Loved the family room with tents and hammock - with views of Mt Fuji. Communal area was lovely, well stocked kitchen, games and foot heating table. 7/11 2 mins walk away, near lake and restaurants.
