I have stayed in plenty of hostels whilst traveling and this is one of the best ones so far! We stayed in a private room with a double bed and 2 tatami mats which was very spacious and comfortable. The laundry and dryer were available in both men and women’s shower rooms which i thought was nice and they had a big communal lounge with plenty of games and a big projector screen. Only thing to keep in mind especially if you dont have a car is that the hostel is on the other side of the lake from the main bus station and the last bus to get to the hostel is at 5 or 6pm which can be annoying and might limit how long you can stay out and explore for. Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again!

Nice hostel in nice location, easily accessible by bus, and close to the lake so you can see beautiful views of Fuji from a 5 minute walk!

Despite the better price and photos, the location is really inconvenient. The only nearby convenience store closes very early and the next closest is far. Common space is not the most comfortable and shower door could be pushed open when locked. Also watched a staff member walk out of the toilet without using soap when washing hands. The same person also prepares food.
