“Do not book for the mountain view – the reality was very different from what was presented.”
We would like to share our experience so that future guests can make an informed decision, especially those choosing this area for its mountain views and peaceful atmosphere. To be fair, the apartment itself was clean, well maintained, and generally matched the interior photos. Our concern was the surroundings. When we arrived (28 May 2026), we discovered that the balcony and mountain view were directly facing a large construction site with a crane obstructing a significant portion of the scenery. The actual view was very different from the impression created by the listing photos. Had we known about the construction, we would not have booked this property. We immediately contacted the owner, but he was unavailable and did not return our call as promised. We only managed to speak with him the following day after repeatedly trying to reach him ourselves. As we were traveling with a young child and no solution was provided, we had no choice but to arrange and pay for alternative accommodation. We did not stay in the apartment for a single night and informed both the property and Booking.com of our decision immediately upon arrival. What disappointed us most was not only the undisclosed construction, but also the lack of responsibility afterward. Despite leaving immediately and never using the accommodation, no refund was provided. The owner later acknowledged that construction was taking place directly in front of the property and that prices had been reduced because of it. Construction projects can happen, but we believe guests should be given accurate and up-to-date information before booking. For travelers whose main goal is to enjoy the mountain views and tranquility of the area, we recommend verifying the current situation around the property before making a reservation.

“I would highly recommend this place and would happily stay again. Excellent Location.”
The location was excellent, with a short walk to the supermarket and a pizza restaurant. It’s an easy, direct drive along the main road to reach Hochfügen for snowboarding. The property offers secure underground parking and convenient keyless entry via an access code, which made arrival and departure very easy. The apartment was clean, spacious, modern, and warm, and it had a very large balcony with beautiful mountain views. The directions and all communication regarding the property were clear and straightforward. I would highly recommend this place and would happily stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at the apartment. I loved everything about the place, especially the quick responsiveness of the host. I can sit on the balcony for a whole day. I highly recommend this apartment and will definitely come back again.
