Your hotels have certainly been upgraded…we quit Comfort Inns because they had gone downhill…very nice now,good quality bedding for sure….most places had a good breakfast!!

The girl upon check in was excellent and very friendly but the guy at reception later was very arrogant and rude. I went down to advise that I could smell cigarette smoke really bad in the room. His response was to ask me what I want to do about it as he can’t leave the desk and do anything about it. I said I just don’t want to get the blame for it.

“It's ok if you can't find somewhere else to stay I guess”
I originally wasn't planning on staying at this location, but unfortunately where I had planned to stay (the Super 8 literally across the street) stated on Priceline to being pet friendly (the same thing was said about this location as well) only they were only friendly for dogs and I was traveling with my 2 16 year old cats. I booked a room on Priceline.com (which I guess went through Booking.com) it was after 11pm and I had intended on stopping in Grand Junction but I missed the exit... So I didn't see any mention of my room being not pet friendly. I also while CHECKING IN ask SPECIFICALLY about the hotel (meaning MY ROOM) was pet friendly to cats BECAUSE I WAS TRAVELING WITH 2 SENIOR CATS and I was told that it was "NO PROBLEM" I was never informed of any kind of pet fee, which I (by this point was use to as it was our 6th of travel coming from Connecticut and I had gotten use to finding out ON CHECK IN of whatever the pet fee was) I was not only NOT informed about any kind of pet fee, but he could have moved me to any room and he picked a room that WAS NOT PET FRIENDLY (I do not understand how a place can CLAIM to be pet friendly and then NOT be). I didn't trash the room nor did my cats and I left to continue on my trek across the country. I will mention that for some bizarre reason their housekeeping KNOCKED ON MY DOOR between 9-10am.... when check out isn't until 11am... WTF at least I was already up and packing to leave when that happened or I would have been absolutely PISSED to get woken up for NOTHING... I only found out about the $100 FEE I was CHARGED because the room was looking over my credit card and I was shocked to see that. I was (and I'm still extremely unhappy) with the response when I spoke with Booking..com... mainly because I was unaware of my booking being through them as I used Priceline's app and in the app it only labeled a "Queen sized room" and nothing else... but I guess I'm SOL.

“Would stay here again, if I'm ever in the area again”
Room was very clean and staff was friendly. The view out of our window was amazing!! The bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast, while not outstanding, was hot and fresh.
