The location was perfect. The view from the terrace was out of this world. Terrace space and outside gas cooking facilities was just brilliant as we did not want to leave this space.communication with Rob and Beatriz excellent 👌 I would highly recommend

Fantastic location and a truly amazing roof terrace with views of the hills right down to the sea and in February at least it gets the sun pretty much all day. The interior is quite small but clean and comfortable and nicely designed.

We are just home after a fantastic week at La AMARA Maha . The apartment is beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone. It is exactly how the pictures show it to be … beautifully styled throughout and every little detail has been thought of . It has everything that you could possibly need . The roof terrace is AMAZING and with the outside kitchen , dining area and comfy seating area you can really enjoy the living outdoors experience from morning to night . The location is absolutely perfect , just by a little square where the locals gather to pass the time of day and there are really good restaurants in the square . Facing is the beautiful historic San Antonio church and you really do feel like your experiencing the authentic Spanish life . Last but certainly not least are the super hosts … Robert and Beatrix 💖💖right from the get go they were so good at reaching out and making sure everything was just perfect for our stay including a lovely chilled bottle of wine waiting for us to kick off our holiday . I could rattle on all day long about the apartment, location and hosts … outstanding well done guys ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“AMARA stay”

Amara a lovely little 1 bed apartment in Frigiliana,  Spain. Picturesque place in a whitewashed Andalusian village.  Tranquil its not, situated on the inner old part of the village the apartment gets all the noise of the municipal services the village needs. The coming and goings of other guests in the other nearby apartments is also annoying and disruptive especially  at 3 in the morning!  The apartment  itself is charming, is finished to a high standard and has the basics.  The terrace  is huge but from about 2 PM is not really usable as the sail sunshades are ineffective  and need repositioning to afford more shaded environment.   The views are wonderful and at night make a lovely  background to sitting and chilling outside.  During the day you are limited to the upper smaller terrace until 3PM when it too has no shade.  Whilst we don't come on holiday to do  washing a washing machine  would be a nice addition and even a dishwasher.  So overall the apartment  is nice and finished to a high standard.  It lacks certain things that would make it 5 star as I have said and is a great base from which to explore Frigiliana and the areas and places around.

“Fantastic stay in early January”

We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment. Everything was as described and the stove was very much appreciated during this time of year. Great space on the terrace - even in January we got to sit out, read and enjoy the fantastic views.

The view from the roof terrace was one of the best I have ever seen. The whole apartment was extremely comfortable, beautiful, and well thought out. The kitchen was well kitted out, and the beds were very comfortable. The location was amazing!

Beautiful apartment in the centre of Frigiliana. Plenty of good restaurants and bars right on your doorstep. Bus to Nerja so convenient. Spotless clean.Balcony and views just amazing.

This fabulous apartment is in such a great location right opposite the church. The apartment is bijou inside, but tastefully furnished with all you need for a short break or longer. We’ve been visiting nearby Nerja for many years and only visited Frigilliana for the day so it was so lovely to be able to combine both. It’s only 1.20€ on the bus from Frigilliana and it takes only 15 mins. Last bus is about 20:30 back on an evening, but if you wish to stay in Nerja later into the evening it only costs about 11 euros in a taxi back to Frigilliana. Accommodation wise if your a couple looking for a peaceful, romantic stay don’t hesitate to book this little gem. Oh, and last but not least the private terrace is fabulous and gives you spectacular views over the mountains.
