“Very comfortable and welcoming, very different well worth a stay,”

Rustic charm and exactly what we wanted from a B&B. Very clean, not a big room but air conditioned with a big comfortable double bed. The lost village is ideally placed at the end of a 4km track in the mountains, not for the faint hearted. Ideal for hiking the different tracks or enjoying the Mountain View’s. There was an ample breakfast and the three course evening meal was both nice and reasonably priced. (There wasn’t a choice as we were sharing a family home and ate what they ate). The hosts Luc and Kitty were very attentive and made us feel welcome like we were staying with friends for a meal and drinks. The drinks are very reasonably priced . We sat outside in the evening and were joined by some of the local people visiting our hosts and were made to feel part of the group, they were happy to indulge us practicing our Spanish. Almost forgot! We used the roof terrace and the pool which although small was very clean and welcome in the heat of the afternoon. Remember this is “the lost village” with an interesting history. Don’t expect resort facilities, if you understand that then this is for you! We would happily return and enjoy the excellent hosting of Luc and Kitty.

A great hospitality from Luc and Kitty. They were always there when needed and were helpful and always with a nice touch of humor 😆. Everything was very clean

The location was amazing as was the history of the village. The food and service in the village restaurant was incredible. It seems that people go from all around the local area. (Only opens for lunch) It was very quiet and isolated. Therefore, if you are looking for peace and quiet it's perfect.

“Cozy Stopover”

A super place to stop off on our hike. B&B was very friendly and cozy and we felt really well looked after. Our hosts provided dinner and bar at good prices and breakfast was simple but ample.

Perfect place. Perfect stay from start to end. Luc was amacing. Totaly friendly, very PRO. God information of history of the place and what to do in the surounding. The B&B The Lost Village El Acebuchal perfect, clean, very nice rooms. Take the one with the terrace!!!! Great Breakfast, and Luc made a very good omlett both days. Had also Dinner both nights, made by "chef" Luc. Also very good. The lost village was an amacingly charming place - totaly out of the normal. There is a Restaurant - El Acebuchal - serving lunch 12 - 16. A must do.

Luc and Kitty were the perfect hosts! Their B&B is full of character and a little hidden gem in the mountains. We instantly fell in love with its location, but also felt instantly comfortable and at ease in the accomodation due to Luc and Kitty’s friendliness and hosting skills. We ate dinner on the Saturday evening after hiking with our dog in the hills, and Luc cooked the most beautiful soup for starter and beef dish for main course. It was exactly what we needed after a long day outside. We cannot fault anything in our stay. We just wished we could have stayed longer! We will be back for sure, and will be telling all of our loved ones to visit too!

What an amazing place, a hidden gem in such a scenic mountain valley! A hiker's paradise with several great trails nearby. Friendly and welcoming hosts, who take good care of you. Luc prepared a very tasty dinner, too. Good breakfast! I also loved my room: clean and beautiful with a countryside vibe + a very comfortable bed. Slept really well. I will come back!

“Traditional village house, with some great views”

Traditional house, in a special historical village. Yes, the room was small, as expected in a village house of this age! Our room had a terrace with great views. We did two great walks straight from the door. We were welcomed warmly and had a nice breakfast before we left. We will stay again.
