Overview
This 4-star hotel in Friedrichshafen is just a 10-minute walk from Lake Constance. It offers high-speed WiFi, and easy bus connections to the town centre. Most of the spacious rooms at the Hotel Föhr feature a south-facing balcony overlooking Lake Constance and the Swiss Alps. The rooms were renovated in 2018 and include a fridge and a modern bathroom. Varied breakfast buffets are available at the Föhr every day. The Bodensee Airport Friedrichshafen and the Messe Friedrichshafen exhibition centre are about 4 kilometres away from the Föhr. Buses serving the town centre stop outside the hotel.

“Nice traditional hotel”
The room was very big, the beds were comfortable and we had a nice view. Breakfast was good, specially the coffee. You will need to drop the car in one of the parking lots and walk to the hotel. Most of the streets are cobbled, so bear that in mind when you choose your parking spot. There where a lot of restaurants and the main street close by.

Great staff at reception and in the restaurant (although there weren't enough of them). Room and bathroom were fairly large and very clean. Food in restaurant was good and value for money. We were upgraded to a 'comfort ' room with a balcony, which was nice.

“Loved staying at Hotel Fohr.”
We were greeted nicely and made to feel welcome! Check in was easy via a tablet. Had reserved parking for our motorcycle which was easily accessed. Restaurant was open at 6 which was great as we were so hungry. Room was great with a terrific view over the lake to the distant mountains. Breakfast was fantastic and staff were superb.

“Surprisingly adequate stay in Friedrichshafen”
The location close to the bus and train station was good. Clean and AC on room was great. Breakfast also very good.
