We were warmly welcomed by the lovely owner, who truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location couldn’t have been better—especially for motorbike trips, with incredible riding routes right on the doorstep. Situated in the Black Forest just off the B500 and B28, the roads are an absolute dream for bikers. The food was superb, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the entire place was spotless—immaculately maintained in every way. One of the standout highlights was the sauna, which was simply unreal and the perfect way to unwind after a long day riding. In the morning, I went for a walk through the surrounding forest, and it was unbelievably peaceful and calming—just me and the deep, quiet woods. I will 100% be staying here again and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

“Amazing Hotel - highly recommended”

We spent 2 nights in this lovely place. Location is perfect, many hikes and paths are available directly from the hotel, and aprox. 500m from hotel, there is a great sun set view. Amazing to spend a lovely summer night! What was even greater was the personal, especially the owner Mrs. Melanie Ritter. I made a mistake during booking (totally caused by my lack of attention) and she was very understanding and solved the issue right on the spot, without giving us hard time (and in the main season, when hotel is full, so any re-booking gets complicated). All hotel personal was absolutely nice and welcoming, happy to advise/provide tips for hikes in the surroundings. Many thanks for the amazing stay, I would love to come again some time!!

Excellent location (right on the Westweg and near ski facilities), extensive leisure facilities (pool, sauna, gym), good food, great outdoor areas, really helpful staff.

beautifully located, you can see a wonderful senset just 3 min walking. and the swimming pool/sauna very nice breakfast with healthy options friendly staff (working their ass off though)

we enjoyed the location (middle of the schwarzwald) and the lady running the hotel was very kind to us, even though we arrived a bit late.

Perfect location for hiking in the Black Forest! We watched the sunset on a mountain top on a 3min hike from the hotel, loved the little sauna after hiking all day and we're offered free drinks by the pool at night.

Breakfast was great and the service perfect. Melanie, the manager, was there when we had a personel problem to solve. She was very efficient and cool. Thank you Melanie and your dad aswell. Rooms are spacious, quiet and clean. Wifi in the room was top. We had a 5 night stay and were very satisfied. A visite during the winter must be very nice aswell.
