“An incredible, historic Black Forest house - wonderful for families”
The house is beautiful inside and out, and the location is fantastic. You can hike into the forest directly behind the house, and also walk to Freudenstadt town square in 15 minutes. We were two families with kids aged 9y to 6y, and it was perfect for us. The kids loved the paddock behind the house with deer, and they could also walk themselves to the nearby playground (didn’t even need to cross a road) which has incredible slides down the mountain side. The house itself was extremely comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, huge sofa (enough space for two families to lounge), and really comfy bed linen. The host was really helpful, responsive and kind.
