Surprised by negative reviews before we came, we were pleasantly surprised. The junior suites we had booked were lovely. Very tastefully decorated if not a lit outdated, but befitting for a hotel of that calibre. Comfy beds etc. breakfast was the best we’ve had on our trip and all the staff were very pleasant and helpful

“A great town and a great hotel”

Pool accessibility was important to me, and I made the mistake of showing up very early, at 0800, to make sure I could get in my exercise. There was absolutely no room to do that in the pool which was packed with eight people. The hotel might consider opening up a little earlier to accommodate this guest interest. Serious swimmers need to try another time. The breakfast was pretty good. Public areas were tastefully appointed and plentiful, offering cocktails and cozy chat rooms.

We really enjoyed the accommodations. The room was quite large and had comfortable pillows. Everything was clean and organized. Breakfast was amazing!

Excellent location in a wonderfully old building with class and character. The staff were friendly and efficient and a big shout out to the barman. Overall excellent service.

Hotel was great—beautiful, Breakfast amazing love love it. classic modernised hotel, and with a lovely smile to welcome all guests. But next time, when a client requests and books a double bed, please do not give separate beds. We had to pay extra to change to a room with double bed. Also, please inform your guests in advance that parking is not free and costs 19 Euro per day. But for the rest, we had a wonderful stay. We give everything 5 stars. Would we come back again? Definitely yes!

The hotel has a grand appearance on the outside as well as the inside. The suite was lovely and the dining room is wonderful! The Black Forest menu including wine for each course was a great start to our stay. The a la carte menu had a wide variety of choices and then breakfast buffet was extensive. The staff were also very friendly.
