Great location close to Ramberg and small supermarket. It was a great base to explore the area and the apartment was easy to find and always warm. The kitchen is well equipped and seating area comfortable. We were lucky enough to see the Aurora from the balcony and beaches close by.

Strategic yet very quiet location half way between the airport and the village of A. Car is needed - the place is located two bridges away (ca. 2km) from the busy E10 main road where the bus bus stop is at the crossing. The building is located some 250m from the asphalt road and as of 03.2024 it is called on Google maps "Hovdanvika AS - temporary closed". In winter one can be snowed-in especially in case of having no experience in driving on the snow while in fact a midsize 2WD car can reach the main road even with some 15-20 cm of fresh snow added overnight :-) The snow plowing service reaches the front door so ultimately it is not a problem yet it might cause worries if one is on tight flight schedule. Apt A has the North & West window views so apart from the water one can see the private access road and possibly also the aurora from the living room. No neighbors (apart from Apt. B obviously) within 400-500m ensure privacy. The nearest house is some 150-200m away but it is not directly visible from the apartment. Apartment comprises the lovely living room with large windows, the big sofa, big table, the open, very modern & well stocked kitchen and two rather small bedrooms. The bathroom is modern with proper pressure & temperature of the hot water which does not run out. Internet is fast. The place is very well heated. In short: go for it, it is a rare find.
