Beautiful cottage perched on the hill with breathtaking views of the valley. It is so peaceful, yet only a few minutes to town. The cottage is very spacious with high ceilings and modern finishes. The kitchen is well equipped for a self catering stay.

Amazing service and breakfast -we were received by the amazing chef, our room ready and offered "breakfast @ L'Amitie" fit for kings and queens - best service ever from day we arrived to departure! Best Views in Franschoek!- I have visited some of the beautiful places in Franschoek and this one tops the list. So serene and peaceful- The cherry on top was having the whole wine estate to ourselves. Early check-in- I had an early morning flight and arrived at the cottage ahead of check in time as I needed to join a meeting. Luckily there was no earlier booking that day, we were accommodated. Safe and secure for good 5km -10 km run around the estate and neighboring estates. If there was a 6star- I'd give it.. 100/10!

Lovely private space with luxurious feel about it. The breakfasts were plentiful and healthy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was refreshing. You need a car.

This is an amazing property nested in the middle of vineyards, facing the sunset behind the Franschhoek mountains. The cottage is very well furnished and the people working on the property (Arend and Princess in particular) are so kind and attentive. Thanks for the amazing stay.

Hard to imagine that it can get better than this. Superb and very luxurious cottage with a full equipped kitchen/living room space, a separate bedroom, a bathroom with floor heating and a garden area with a small pool plus an amazing view of the mountains. We had an amazing breakfast served in the cottage. It's 3min by car to the main street and wine tram, or 20min by foot. There are also a few good vineyards worth visiting that are right next it (our favourite being Black Elephant Vintner), and the best restaurant of our whole trip was also next to it (Arkeste).

Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and served to us in our room. We felt very spoilt! The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a lovely addition when the weather turned colder.

Such a lovely peaceful place to stay. Fabulous views. Good little pool. Amazingly well kept gardens. The cottage is right next to the big house but we felt totally private. Because of the elevation of the property there was a gentle breeze cooling the 30+ degrees feel comfortable. Charming interior… photos don’t do it justice. Manager was very helpful.

Lovely private location. Superbly decorated and furnished. Breakfast big enough for 10 people and the quality and presentation wonderful. Princess looked after us so well. Everything was perfect. Good value too

The location was superb, being about 15 minutes walk in to Franschhoek (but 20 minutes back up the hill). The cottage had great views, its own small pool and the breakfast was brilliant and varied each morning. Unfortunately the weather was not good enough for us to take breakfast on the terrace but the internal dining area was fine. Ian met us on arrival and was around to see us off at 6am on the day we left as we had an early flight home. Princess set up and cleared away our breakfast in our cottage each morning.
