Set on a working olive farm just 10 minutes' drive from Franschhoek, The Cottage @ Montpellier offers its guests privacy and views of the Franschhoek mountains. Combining elegance with homely features and selected antiques, this villa offers open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen and cozy wood fireplace. French doors open onto a furnished patio with plunge pool. Guests can unwind with a glass of wine and admire the magnificent vistas and the serene environment. The village of Franschhoek is home to South African gourmet cuisine and fine wines and Stellenbosch is a 25-minute drive away. Cape Town International Airport can be reached within 1 hour by car.

Great location, close to Frankshoek and the main vineyards in the area. Beautiful quiet place with tasteful decoration and good sized ensuite bedrooms. Small sized pool to relax. The view is beautiful and the owners are very responsive.

“Fantastic place, very quiet and beautiful”
When you think after 10 days in South Africa you have seen beautiful places, you arrive at the Cottage and it just tops everything! Beautiful cottage, very comfortable, with such beautiful view! It is an incredible place. Just be aware it is far from the street and the next shops are between 10-15kms away. If you ar looking for a peaceful and inspirational place, stay there! We will definitely be back!

This was easily the best cottage I have ever stayed at! The views are unbelievable! The cottage is well equipped and has everything you need. It is beautiful inside and out and very cozy and welcoming! I would love to return with my family.

The location was perfect with access to lots of places to explore, shop and eat. The cottage is situated on the foot of some mountains and is surrounded by breathtaking views. The toiletries were stunning. It was so refreshing to stay somewhere with a decent hairdryer!!
