“A lovely place to stay in Franschhoek”

We had a fabulous stay. The house was much larger than we expected and our family of 6 were very comfortable. The beds were really comfortable and each bedroom had an en-suite. Marlicia and Louis are charming hosts and gave us many local recommendations, helping with taxis and Drs. The pool was lovely and so peaceful. It’s a little walk into town but just as easy to drive and park on one of the many side streets. We visited the village market and the Huguenot museum - both worth it. Thank you.

A warm welcome, lovely property, spotlessly clean, great location. Exactly what we wanted four our two nights in Franschhoek. No hesitation in recommending the excellent accommodation to others. Thanks for a great stay.

Amazing hosts, Marlicia and her husband were very kind and considerate and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The lodge was well equipped with everything we needed. Bonus that we had a double shower! The pool area was ideal for chilling out between wine estates. The walk felt safe to the high street. Would highly recommend; we’ve stayed at some expensive options costing 3x as much per night but we enjoyed this just as much.

“Lovely quiet cottage in Franschhoek”

Really lovely place around 10 minutes walk from the main high street in Franschhoek. Pool is lovely with comfortable sunbeds. The host was fabulous and just so kind, even doing our washing free of charge (obviously we tipped). Would recommend to anyone.

“An excellent 3 night stay”

Everything was good, the owner Marlicia was so friendly and helpful, the petit cottage was bright and airy, spotlessly clean and had everything you needed with little extras. The lady housekeepers were all very friendly and worked very hard. The pool area had sunbeds and parasols, patio furniture, cushions, and a beautiful garden cared for by the two helpful gardeners. We we able to walk into the centre for restaurants and shopping and enjoyed a tuk tuk trip around 4 vineyards which I would highly recommend, really good fun. We also walked to Mont Rochelle for lunch.

Just the most perfect little cottage located in a peaceful area of Franschhoek but in walking distance of the Main Street. Everything about this place is wonderful and the added touches like home baked goodies and homemade jam provided by Marlicia just make it that little bit more special. Great for parking. A lovely garden and pool and wait till you see the bathroom -it’s fabulous !
