“A private, peaceful, and luxurious vineyard escape — easily one of my top five stays.”
It was a beautiful vineyard stay with a private suite, its own plunge pool, and complete privacy overlooking the mountains and sunsets. The suite had stunning retractable glass doors opening onto the patio, a cosy fireplace for winter, and uninterrupted views that made the whole stay feel peaceful and luxurious. The staff were amazing, always on call and ready to assist — honestly a 10/10 experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at La Chataigne, our accommodation was beautifully decorated, clean and very peaceful. We were travelling with our 6month old who needed a cot & high chair and they provided us with really great, clean ones (so helpful for travelling parents!) thank you Issy for being so attentive too

“Peace and quiet and a great location to explore Franschoek”
The cottage was very beautifully decorated. We had a small plunge pool on the property and access to a larger pool in the garden.

Issy was super helpful and welcoming.. The quiet location made it feel like a great getaway from the hustle. The swimming pool, boules pit and the kitchen garden were all nice additions.

“A beautiful and relaxing stay”
A beautiful and relaxing stay. One of the highlights for us was the pool — getting there felt like a little adventure as you walk through tall hedges before it opens up to the most stunning views. It was such a peaceful and memorable experience. The accommodation itself is quaint yet luxurious, immaculately clean, and very well equipped for self-catering with everything we needed. My parents especially loved how comfortable and thoughtfully put together the space felt. A truly special stay in Franschhoek — we would happily return.
