Great location in centre of village. Short walk to the Main Street but not noisy. Secure parking, big enough for large 4x4. The kitchen is very well equipped, and nice touches like milk ready for you in the fridge, as well as coffee and tea.

We spent two nights at Cook’s Cottage and absolutely loved every moment. From the very start, Julia welcomed us warmly, showed us everything, and was always kind and helpful. She even provided milk and orange juice – such thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and extremely cozy. It has everything you could possibly need – from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and a living space that invites you to relax. Nothing is missing, and everything feels carefully designed with great attention to detail. The location could not be better: right in the center of Franschhoek, yet quiet and safe. All of the town’s excellent restaurants, shops, and galleries are within easy walking distance, which made our stay extra convenient. We also loved the outdoor space – the small but spotless pool with sun loungers was perfect for a refreshing dip and some downtime between exploring the area. In short: Cook’s Cottage is a true gem. Professional, welcoming, comfortable, and ideally located. We would come back without hesitation and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Franschhoek.
