“Lovelly stay with friendly host”

⸻ We had a lovely stay at this hotel in Foum Zguid. Everything was very nice and well looked after. We arrived quite late, when the kitchen was already closed, but the owner still brought us two bowls of their homemade soup, along with fresh bread and dates, all offered for free. He also gave us a bottle of water, which we found to be a truly kind and thoughtful gesture, especially considering the late hour. Breakfast was also excellent and we enjoyed it on the rooftop terrace, which was a really pleasant way to start the day. The place feels very genuine, run by people who truly want their guests to feel comfortable and at ease. The only small note is purely personal: my pillow was a bit too thick for my taste, and I realised only later that I could have swapped it with another one. That was entirely my own preference and not an issue with the room itself. We also had a proper hot shower, which can feel like a luxury when travelling in the south of Morocco, so that was very much appreciated. Overall, this is a really nice place with a friendly atmosphere and a very kind owner. We would definitely recommend it.

La gentillesse de Moustapha

A very calm, clean and well located Auberge. The owner is very helpful - made a takeaway breakfast for me the previous evening as I was leaving early in the morning. Next to the old city which is amazing. Easy to find.

Authentic Auberge with superstaff. Best Chicken & Chips in town. Mustafa took care of my wife's hand by delivering ice-packs after a minor fall on the road. Motor bikes can sleep inside. Thnx Mustafa for all that care 🙏

Cool place. Great host. Tasty dinner.

Mustafa is a very welcoming and friendly host, he even went out of his way to show us around the old Kasbah and gave us a lot of interesting information about its history. At our request they served us vegetarian food, and every evening they prepared a different dinner for us, all of which were absolutely delicious. We went on a tour to the Sahara Desert and Iriki National Park with Ahmed, and it was an amazing experience. We couldn't recommend this place more and hope we can come back again!

Really nice simple auberge. Staff could not have been better. Thank you Mustafa for making our stay such fun. Visit to old Kasbah was great. Super food and birthdays cake for one of us. Would very happily return.

Welcoming staff, good meals, comfortable room and a clean hotel throughout. It's better than the pictures - I would recommend staying here.
