“Glad I came back”

A fabulous old building with a long history which has been lovingly restored by the current owners. This is my second time of staying there, and if I ever needed to stay in Fougeres again, it would be my first choice. Veronique is an excellent hostess, who also provides a super breakfast!

Location was perfect in upper town. It is also a leisurely walk to most of the points of interest.

Lovely size, with space to sit and work, or sit and look out the window. A very relaxing ambience. Beautifully presented.

The location was excellent and very quiet. There was public free parking nearby. The room has everything you need and it was very clean. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast isn't included but it's worthy paying for it as an extra as it was delicious and huge The building is antique with a lot of style and history.

Beautiful historical building set in the old part of town. Wonderful host! All the reviews said what a wonderful welcome they received and they were right! Lovely Veronique who served us a delicious breakfast and recommended places to visit and good restaurants to enjoy local food. The property is exceptionally clean and comfortable and is lovingly presented.

Breakfast was extra, but well worth having, taken with other guests in the owners kitchen. Great central location with easy on street parking locally. The Hostess was charming and helpful.

The owner was very nice. She gave us coffee and delicious homemade apple coffeecake for a breakfast snack before we left.

A super welcome from the host. Stone spiral staircase up to our beautiful room. Comfy bed and very tastefully decorated. Very quiet location with a vibrant square just around the corner.

This historic property is perfectly situated in the High Town on a quiet, characterful street. Shops and restaurants are within easy and interesting walking distance. Mme Tilly speaks good English (puts me and my French to shame) and is both pleasant and helpful. Her breakfasts will set you up for the day. I thoroughly recommend this property.
