This cottage is in a great location and has a fantastic view. The sitting and dining area faces to the view so you get to make the most of it. The cottage is a little apart from the other accommodation so giving more privacy. There is a nice local walk you can do that allows you to appreciate the scenery.

“Peaceful with an amazing outlook/view”

The cabin is on top of a bluff overlooking a valley and the view was amazing. There are great walking tracks too. The cabin is comfortable. Lots of hot water too!

Very original restaurant with a soul

The whole place is not just a farm with cabins, it's a complex with a wonderful view to a waterfall, a walking path with trolls histories, a restaurant and hot tubs for guests. The cabins are very cute, ours in particular was super cozy and warm. We had all that we needed. The check in was super easy and the woman at the front desk was super kind to us.

The accommodation was generally fine. The location was very good and the cabin was quite pretty.

Best place to see aurora.

Loved the cottage - it had two bedrooms and its own bathroom and kitchen (equipped). We enjoyed the hot tubs a lot! And the best part was seeing the northern lights right from the cottage. Breakfast was very rich and the view of the waterfalls was just an awesome plus.

Great cottage to have the middle-of-nowhere experience but also close to other cottages. Very clean and cozy. Good location and close to Reykjavik, Akranes.

“Magical place with a view”

The location of the cottage and the views were amazing. The river and the falls and the valley all created a magical atmosphere. The troll theme was fun as well as the strolls, which were also educational for kids and adults alike. The people are very nice. Overall a great place to stay.

“Just wonderful!”

This was our favourite place to stay during our week in Iceland. The cottage is about 100m away from the reception area but totally private with a view to take your breath away. The little cottage is warm clean and has all you need. There is Wi-Fi but no tv ( who needs one with views like this) there is a stunning river close by, there are wonderful walks, hot tubs and the breakfast served in the main building was by far the best we had, incredible value! The evening meal was very good and they even “changed the menu” to give our son who is type 1 diabetes and coeliac a great meal, you sit with a view of the river tumbling over rocks, then home to watch the sunset. Go and stay here !

Great place to stay, extremely friendly staff and the food was perfect! We will come back!
