“Great view and room”

Cool location and theme. Warm and cosy cabin and lovely dinner. Free breakfast was a bonus

Room was a cabin but warm, comfortable with modern en suite and very clean. Hot tubs quite good.

“Fabulous location for Aurora hunters”

What a fantastic location! Right on the river with beautiful views of the waterfall and surrounding countryside. I arrived quite late but they accommodated me in the restaurant for dinner (and pudding) and I didn't feel rushed at all. Food was amazing and the breakfast selection was the best I'd had during my 10 day trip around the ring road. The room was spacious, warm and comfortable. I literally stepped out of my room and saw the Northern Lights. There are lovely walks from the hotel, one of which takes you to the Troll Garden, based on books written by the owner of the hotel. Quirky unique hotel, absolutely loved it.

the view was amazing the troll garden was beautiful and very fun to walk through the staff was very kind I would have personally just cleaned the rooms a little bit better but apart from this everything was perfect the food at the restaurant was delicious

“A short stay”

The room Is well-equipped with fridge and the guests could use the shared kitchen and the hot tub. The restaurant just next to the river. The view is nice. The food is delicious too.

“Absolutely ideal”

We stayed in a room with a bathroom for two nights. The room had a small fridge, microwave and kettle with coffee, tea and wine glasses :-). Breakfast was delicious, on a beautiful glassed-in terrace overlooking the waterfall. It's amazing that the owner thinks of everyone - if you prefer to self-cater, there are two well-equipped kitchens. If you want to stay in the privacy of your room, you have the basic equipment. And if you want to take advantage of the dinner option - and from my own experience I recommend it - just make a reservation. The real pearl is the hot tubs, fed by the most abundant European hot spring...! And don't forget to walk through the troll garden!
