This is an absolutely wonderful hotel with an excellent team of staff. All the employees are professional, thoughtful and attentive to every guest. I booked the outside laundry service last night, and they promised to collect my laundry from the hotel yesterday. Unfortunately, I received a message this morning saying they were unable to come for the pickup. It was really frustrating for me, as I had to carry two big bags of dirty clothes to my next hotel, and I was totally stuck with no idea what to do. The hotel's duty manager Silver noticed my trouble and came to check on me proactively. He patiently comforted my mood, and actively coordinated with the hotel's in-house laundry department to arrange the service for me as soon as possible. He gave me great care and sincere help throughout the whole process. Although I didn't end up using the hotel laundry service due to my tight travel schedule, I am still truly grateful for his kindness and thoughtful assistance. I will definitely remember the great service from manager Silver.

Our stay at the Hilton Foshan was unfortunately not up to the standards expected from a 5-star hotel. We stayed for one week on a business trip with our children, and one of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for them to enjoy the outdoor pool. To our surprise and disappointment, the pool was closed upon arrival, which was not clearly communicated at the time of booking. The hotel, which opened in 2014, feels significantly older than it should. While the rooms are generally clean, the carpets are stained and give an overall impression of poor maintenance and aging facilities. Considering the price we paid, we believe there are much better options available in Foshan. This experience was disappointing, and for our future stays, we will choose the Sofitel instead.
