Overview
Set in lush tropical gardens, at the foot of Costa Rica’s Arenal the Volcano Lodge, Hotel & Thermal Experience offers an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi zone. Air-conditioned rooms have a terrace. “Good experience”
Simple and procice.Amazing location, nice and courteous staff, highly professional at the front desk and helpful with everything I needed. I especially loved the swim-up bar in the hot springs/hot pool; I had both of my dinners there. Breakfast was good as well. They truly understand what 'Pura Vida' means

Pools with warm water. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the town center, which is a reasonable distance. It’s also around 10–15 minutes from Arenal Park and about 20–25 minutes from Mistico Park.

We've stayed in several locations in La Fortuna but none of those had properly "hot" springs. You do. The lunch and dinner at the restaurant was a nice surprise! The three of us sampled much of both menus and found the value, flavor and presentation - all good. The scrambled eggs were prepared as they should be, not over cooked and chopped like most in Costa Rica. Bonus points to host José who went beyond. Orange juice at breakfast was very tasty. The room was nice and comfortable.

Lots of perks! Generous check in/check out times. Free snacks, free wine. Quiet, spacious, good price, great food (the breakfast has a great selection) the wildlife is lovely and the grounds are a lot of fun to walk around and explore. Hot springs are nice. Grounds are extremely well maintained. Very good for the price.

“Lovely hotel”
Great spot to stay in La Fortuna. Amazing flora all around you and lots of birdlife. Personal hot tub was cool (and very hot)! Swim up bar was nice and food was very good, breakfast especially.
