The staff, the team at the property were honestly the best, also the free evening ‘Frog Tour’ was better than ones we had paid lots of money for..such a great extra to offer and Kevin was great. Also, special mention to Crystal, although all the team were so so helpful.

I rarely write hotel reviews, but I genuinely wanted to share how much I loved this place. Staying in a bungalow surrounded by the jungle was such a special experience — absolutely beautiful and full of life. Everything was spotless, very well maintained, with beautiful design and perfectly done rooms. The location is also amazing — only a 5-minute walk to La Fortuna Waterfall.

The hotel was beautiful, in a good location for the places we visited and our room was light, spacious and spotlesly clean. We enjoyed the outside shower! Every member of staff was incredibly helpful and gave us lots if advice on trips, wildlife and the best routes to take. The food was excellent with lots of choice, we especially enjoyed the breakfasts.

It is set right in the jungle and not a moment goes by that you can’t hear and see nature. There beautiful are paths around the property, a bird spot and a frog sanctuary. It’s so green and lush with flowers everywhere. The pool is clean and refreshing. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and speak very good English. The breakfast that is included is the best I’ve ever had with fresh fruit and gourmet menu options, along with fresh coconut water and coffee all day. Simply amazing!

“Best garden ever!”

The garden is amazing! You can spot frogs, birds and we had a sloth hanging around right in front of our balcony! The complementary night tour was amzing! Big thank you to the concierge/reception - all of them, but especially Esther - who organized sooo much for us!

This is a glorious place to stay. It is the perfect combination of comfort and being part of nature. The grounds are superb, and you will never be bored. Breakfast is wonderful too. The staff were all great, but a particular shout out to Kevin, and the nightlife walk he took us on around the hotel. So many frogs, and all sorts of interesting creatures. It always felt safe, but you could still get really close. He took amazing photos, and patiently shared them with everyone after the walk. He took time to answer questions, and for everyone to take their turn to look and take their own photos too. Also a shout out to Antonio in the restaurant who was always smiling, and gave us so many helpful tips on tours, and Costa Rica in general - an absolute legend. There is a free ping pong table, and pool table, which, whilst being outside, is protected from the elements (and the wildlife!!) The outside shower was also a lovely touch. Toucans were flying around the grounds at all times, and the coati came to visit most days too. Just wish we could have stayed for longer.

The most beautiful accommodation with outstanding staff. Immaculately clean, beautiful room, outstanding breakfast with fresh juiced, fresh coconuts and cooked to order. Gorgeous pool and beautiful location and defo take the evening from tour. It’s free and amazing!

We stayed in one of the newer lodges overlooking the jungle which was incredible! Really nice, big rooms with a great view. The hotel is located right next to La Fortuna waterfall and close enough to town too (by car). The staff are incredible and really go out of your way to help accommodate any needs. Special shout out to Antonio who was always super happy at breakfast and the check-in and reservations team, in particular, Esther and Cyndy.

Location is amazing with nice view

I gasped the first time I walked into my room and that feeling never wore off. From the jungle views off my balcony, to the sound system, to the (very welcome) Japanese toilet surprise, this hotel is genuinely among the best I've ever stayed at. The room felt brand new, the property is immaculate, and the food: breakfast, lunch, dinner, was delicious across the board. A special thanks to Antonie my server who gave me great recommendations. Also the hotel is perfectly located 5 minutes from the Fortuna waterfall. But what truly set this experience apart was the people. Kevin checked me in with such warmth and kindness, and his nightly nature tour of the property was a highlight of my entire trip. spotting frogs and little animals in the dark, receiving high-quality photos and being gifted stickers and a printed photo of one of the frogs. Genuinely thoughtful and memorable. Cynthia organized all my tours seamlessly. I did the hot springs and the Mistico Hanging Bridges, and I'd recommend both without hesitation. I was genuinely sad to leave. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful property set in beautiful lush grounds. We spotted Toucans in the tree outside in the hotel grounds when we arrived! The room felt inviting and bright with everything to have an enjoyable stay.

The room and bed were large and comfortable. Loved having a shower that was open to the outside. Staff were extremely helpful and informative. Great to have a bird feeding station just outside the seating/eating area. Location is out of town (but only 10 minutes) so no traffic noise which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent and set you up for a day of tours or activities. Also lovely to have a hot tub on the balcony to wind down and relax at the end of a busy day. Finding tree frogs on a short night walk with the hotel staff was a bonus.
