“Clean bed and friendly staff, but the bathroom smell was difficult”
I stayed three nights at Tico Bed and Breakfast. The location is very good, close to the center, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The staff are very kind and welcoming. The food at Soda Lulu is also very good. Room number 1 was clean, with fresh sheets and towels, and the bed was comfortable.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The accommodation is small but very nice. The car can be parked right outside the door. Tours can also be booked at a discount through Tico. Super breakfast. The distance to the village can be covered on foot in 5 minutes. We would go again in a heartbeat.

We stayed at this charming Tico Bed & Breakfast for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic—just a 5-minute walk to the city center, which made exploring the area so convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was cozy and comfortable, offering excellent value for the price. Breakfast was a highlight of our stay—delicious, fresh, and the perfect start to each day.

“Wonderful stay with amazing hosts”
The stay at Tico Bed and Breakfast in La Fortuna was fantastic! Wilbert, Lulu, and their family were incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with both before and during my visit. The gluten-free breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee! The location is in a quiet area but still very close to the centre of La Fortuna and great restaurants. Highly recommend!

Yes this is a tiny room, but you have everything you need. I don't understand the negative reviews, it clearly says what to expect. Lulú and Wilber were extremely welcoming, wanted to make sure I enjoyed myself and suggested places to visit. Breakfast was delicious. And you're only 5 minutes from the centre! I loved it.
