Overview
This luxury Virtuoso resort offers spectacular views of the Arenal volcano and valley. It features free WiFi throughout, 28 hot spring pools, a spa and a fitness centre. La Fortuna is less than 10 minutes’ drive away. All rooms at The Springs Resort & Spa at Arenal offer panoramic views of the Arenal Valley. They include an extra large double bed, a flat-screen TV, CD and DVD player and an iPod dock. The private bathroom includes toiletries and a hairdryer. The Springs Spa offers a range of massage and beauty treatments, including a floating water massage and body wraps using therapeutic volcanic clay. The changing rooms include a steam room and sauna. The Springs Resort & Spa has 5 restaurants, including a gourmet buffet restaurant, a grill restaurant surrounded by 5 waterfall pools, and a sushi bar. There are also several bars, including a sports bar. An airport shuttle service is also available at an additional cost. The Springs Resort & Spa also offers within the property access to Club Rio Outdoor Center located at 1.5 kilometers from the resort where you can do River Tubing, Horseback Tours, Rock Climbing and Rapelling. Additional you can access to the Wildlife Preserve for Rescued Animals.

“Great experience in a one of kind setting”
Super Nice team, everyone was great. They do their best so that we have a great experience. The room had an incredible view. Lots of fun things to do at the hôtel for kids.

“Big price to pay for a view of the volcano”
The resort is huge and all rooms have a view of the volcano. We opted for a Vista Grande as a treat for 3 nights and the room was huge, great balcony with hammock. What a shame it rained every day! Nice extras like free washing machines and dryers (even for boots!). Ample coffee on tap. We enjoyed The Perdido Springs, close to the hotel and swam and lounged in all the pools. You pay for the privilege of not being overrun with day-trippers - but this comes at a huge price. The trip to the bottom of the hill by bus was worthwhile to enjoy the other hot springs, but we thought the extras of Club Rio weren't worth the cost as we had other adventures planned outside of the hotel.

“Breathtaking views, pools and facilities”
Amazing views, very big rooms with whirlpool bathtub, incredible hot spring pools and super fast slide. Our 8yo loved the game room, darts, pool table, and had fun with Esteban and Gustavo! We loved Club Rio, feeding the wildcats and river tubing. The staff is lovely.

Beautiful property. The view of Arenal is unbeatable. Very well manicured. The hot springs at the Rio Club are amazing. Nice activities for the kids: including mini golf, game room, game tables, pool, pin pong, etc We had a room with two queen beds. The rooms was spacious but I felt like they needed a better interior layout design ( no real living space for the size of the room). The balcony was great with a nice view of the volcano. Everything was very clean. The staff was very kind and friendly.

“Amazing resort to enjoy Costa Rica - pura vida!”
The service was great - everyone was so friendly! The hotel had so much for our family - the pools/hot springs, mini golf, kids club, games, etc. The food was lovely. The gym was well appointed. Guest laundry was a great bonus. We had an amazing time and would definitely return.
