The hot springs were really nice and very clean. There is an amazing view of the volcano. Excellent food at the roof restaurant.

Service is excellent, especially the receptionist Deyber is exceptional. Breakfast is also excellent.

Everything is actually lovely. Guests are respectful and decent. Breakfast is fabulous. Various different pools and jacuzzis to try. Parking is plentiful and free. It's a peaceful and fun place for 2-4 days.

The service was great - at check in we were welcomed with a towel and drink. The staff were friendly and always happy to help. The hot spa was delightfully warm and was lovely to sit in at the pool bar when the weather was overcast. Breakfast had great choices and was lovely whilst sat under the palms. The rooms were large and cleaned daily. Our shower was amazing.

Hot spring pools were very enjoyable in the rain. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and soft. The room was pretty spacious. We tried both restaurants and preferred the one on the 5th floor as we liked the fish offer there and the ambiance. The pool bar and cocktails weee great, especially the margarita with salt and chilli peppers. The receptionist remembered our names and called us by name everytime when we needed something, which was a nice touch. Entire staff was very polite and friendly. The hotel is close to Arenal attractions

The hotel is very modern and clean. The staff was absolutely amazing, very friendly and helpful to us non Spanish speakers. We ate at both restaurants and they were excellent. Free breakfast is a full buffet with omelette bar and espresso drinks. Thermal pools and hot tubs are great with a swim up bar.

We were assigned a room category that we did not book. Instead of the “room with a view” we paid for, we were given a room with a view of nothing but palm trees. When we complained, the only options we were offered were either to leave the hotel and receive a full refund or to simply accept the downgraded room. They also offered to move us to another room on the same floor, but unsurprisingly, every room on that floor had the exact same “view” – nothing but palm trees. Even more concerning was the fact that three staff members immediately pulled out pre-prepared photos on their phones to argue what they claimed was the “view.” This clearly indicates that this scam is routine at this hotel. How else would they conveniently have such photos ready at a moment’s notice? This level of dishonesty and lack of customer service is unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs!

“Incredible Experience”

Wow... where to begin. My boyfriend and I went there to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary and The Royal Corin went above and beyond to make our experience incredible. I would put this resort in my top 3 best hotels for the staff and service alone. The staff had a "yes" attitude and made us feel very welcome and taken care of (they were honestly amazing from the doorman, reception, to the cleaners). The towel designs on the bed, the little notes, balloons, strawberries and chocolate, etc, were the little things that made me feel very special on my birthday! On an allergy note, the restaurants were willing to adapt the meals as I am gluten free. The breakfast buffet is not celiac safe but the chef will make you a separate breakfast (whatever you want). Shout out to Jonathan who was an amazing server at breakfast (he went out of his way to find me some GF cereal to eat so I wasn't left out). It's amazing that this resort doesn't have day pass guests and is also adult only. The main pool is a lovely hot temperature and the pool bar is super cool! They even let you order food from any restaurant, straight to the pool. The Junior Suite was spacious and had a nice view of the volcano.
