“Peaceful stay for La Fortuna”
We stayed in the spacious 3 bedroom house. The house has air-conditioning and a large open plan kitchen with all necessary kitchen utensils( had seen better days ) and a full sized fridge freezer. The garden is well maintained and the car port is very useful. There is a grocery shop and a Soda , local eatery, within 8 to 10 minutes of walk. The owner is very helpful. We saw more birds and animals including a sloth in the garden during our stay than one of the paid walks.

“Unforgettable stay! Toucans, treehouse views, and Jessie’s incredible hospitality”
I had the most wonderful stay. The views were breathtaking from both my bungalow and the restaurant. I even got to watch toucans flying right past my window! Jessie was an incredible host, always making sure I had everything I needed. She was also fantastic at suggesting tours and sharing information on things to do each day, including the tours they run themselves. The breakfasts were homemade and absolutely delicious, a highlight of my mornings. The location was also perfect, just a short 30 minute walk to the well known rope swing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable stay.

“A peaceful and refreshing stay surrounded by nature. Just what I needed to unwind.”
I had a wonderful time at this place. I was looking to recharge my energy surrounded by nature, and this jungle retreat was exactly what I needed. The peaceful atmosphere helped me disconnect and truly relax. Plus, the breakfast was delicious.

Looking at past reviews, you can tell the owners took comments to heart and have put a LOT of work and love into the facilities -- AMAZING PLACE FOR THE VALUE!!!! GORGEOUS lush tropical grounds and super-friendly staff that made it feel like home. Our standard villa, two-bed room had a TON of electrical outfits, freezing cold AC, and a super-updated modern shower and toilet... so I think old reviews about these items aren't accurate any more. Everything was spotless in the room and the private balcony surrounded by trees and birds was incredible. The layout is such that you can barely see or hear the other cabins. Jessenia, the manager, cooked us an awesome vegetarian breakfast and everyone there is so kind. We also enjoyed petting and meeting the on-property horse. We saw a ton of awesome birds including a curassow, many hummingbirds, and a toucan at breakfast. It's super-close to everything in La Fortuna but feels secluded and away from all the tourist traffic. We stay at least overnight in the Arenal area every couple months to enjoy the hot springs, and I will definitely book here again and try to spend more nights! Did I mention VALUE???? Thanks to Booking we got a room and three hot, cooked-to-order breakfasts for a price I honestly almost feel bad paying... Such an awesome find.

“The place is inadequate for the average travelling couple”
The room was just too small, with no facilities for hanging clothes or properly relaxing. We left a day early as a result, requesting a refund for the day we were not there, which was refused.
