“Wonderful stay in a lovely hotel”

Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds, we had a lovely view of the Volcano from our room, unfortunately we had a lot of rain so only saw the volcano clearly for one day. The hot springs were the highlight for us, they were wonderful. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel, the staff are great and cannot do enough for you.

The view of the volcano is ever-present. It looms over everything in the area so the view is available to every living thing around. Impressive and thankfully dormant at present. The room was adequate and clean. Beds were moderately comfortable but mine slanted quite a bit towards the inside of the room. The mattresses could use a turn now and then. Bathroom was nicely appointed and of a open "spa" design. Nice towels. The buffet breakfast was included and was satisfying. The breakfast meats were disappointing. The "sausages" were over-done and some sort of poor hot dog. Selection of fresh fruit was good. The property is very well maintained and clean. The layout is excellent for foot travel.

The gardens surrounding all rooms were beautiful as was the bird life! Hot springs are a definite hit especially at night, the rooms were very clean and spacious and staff were accommodating!

The hotel is amazing, and the staff are outstanding. The service was excellent everywhere — at the reception, by the pool, and in the dining area. Everyone was friendly, professional, and truly attentive, which made the stay exceptional.

It is a large resort with buggies to get around. Best breakfast we have ever experienced and some amazing wildlife on your doorstep. Hot springs were a wonderful way to relax at the end of each day.

“Lovely Hotel”

We had an amazing 4 night stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. We booked a suite with its own private pool, which was absolutely outstanding. The room was lovely—clean, modern, and very comfortable. The private pool area was a highlight, with views of the volcano was simply magnificent. The thermal spa pools are beautiful, situated among the trees and immaculately maintained, with an abundance of clean towels available. The spa facilities are also outstanding, the location is perfect alongside the flowing river, made for a very relaxing massage. Highly recommend. The staff were incredibly friendly.

“Nice resort in the middle of the jungle”

Nice private bungalows, great hot springs area open until late in the evening. Delicious breakfast buffet with lots of choices. In the jungle with lots of wild animals and beautiful tropical trees, plants & flowers everywhere.

Stunning views of the volcano, nice facilities with hot springs to enjoy. Smaller resort that never felt crowded despite being fully booked. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds.

This is a truly stunning property in a beautiful location with a lot of thought gone into the separate very private bungalows.

Breakfast was excellent. Dinners high quality but extremly pricy- prices will be higher then in most places in Europe. Pool and views are great and its a really nice hotel in general. Beautifull bathrooms. Staff was very friendly.

The grounds were great for wildlife and bird viewing. Breakfast was exceptional. We got in around 5 and had lots of time to settle and go to the pools and have a fantastic dinner. bellmen and waitstaff are knowledgeable of wildlife and share.

“Amazing hotel with incredible views and service”

Very nice hotel - had an incredible view of Arenal mountain from our room and nice rocking chairs outside. We had visits from hummingbirds agutis and toucans. Food was really really good - wide variety at breakfast and great view of the mountain. Beautifully landscaped as a hotel. We also uncovered on our last day the hot springs - shame we didn’t find them earlier. Better than the hotel pool. One of our highlights was that each day they would do a towel origami for us - really delightful for us to discover what new animal was waiting for us.

The rooms were well appointed and the view from the rooms was wonderful. Thoughtful vegetation attracted humming birds and all sorts of wildlife which we loved sitting for an evening and watching. The pools were excellent - we particularly enjoyed the hot pools. The photos do not do them justice as they are stunning. Really terrific staff too, so kind.
