Amazing place ! Very comfortable beds, clean, air conditioned and equipped with everything you need ! The honest was very kind and responsive and took care of our laundry for us for a good price 🙂

I stayed for a night and booked on short-notice. The price was fair and the owner was very nice.

Great host and the room was comfy and had everything I needed. The air con was great - not a loud machine. I felt safe travelling alone and the location was great to explore different attractions in the area. I did have my own car and was able to park in the carport area which was fantastic.

“Lovely studio type apartment”

Good sized studio apartment on edge of town, 1 minute from excellent bakery, 5 minutes from large supermarket, 20 minutes from centre square and bus terminal. Lovely, helpful staff, very responsive to questions and/or requests. Very clean. Key access to room (and stair access). Excellent wifi/internet/network. Compact kitchen area, but easy usable and plenty of worktop space. 2 gas hobs, small fridge/freezer, coffee maker and juicer. Plenty of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. Eating area outside room, but a bit too hot to take advantage of. Colones or dollars accepted (not sure if card payment possible). Reminders around to switch off lights and aircon when not in use. Large room with 3 double beds, (2 used for storage, as little storage available). Adequate lighting, a few powerpoints around. Room could get quite warm, but air-conditioning unit (did struggle in top temperatures) provided together with air purifier unit. Windows could also be opened at night when it was a bit cooler. Flatscreen TV with streaming (eg Netflix). Good size bathroom with electric hot water shower, plenty of towels. (Photos on booking.com do not do the accommodation justice!)

“Really great stay, would recommend”

Such good value for money for the price. You basically get a mini apartment with a big bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and lounge area. Beds were super comfy and the staff were really nice.

Best place we stayed in Costa Rica. Full of space and the owners are very kind. Everything was very easy with them, and they even helped us with our laundry. We stayed there to drive to the volcano and Rio Celeste.

Staff was amazing ,super friendly and so helpful with lots of information ofvthe area. The accommodation was great ,in a nice little area just outside town with good facilities and a nice place to chill after hiking during the day .

The place was nice and clean we had a wide room, kitchen was a plus. we liked the area and feel safe we were able to leave our car right next to the room door easy to get in and out while it rains, We ran out of gas for stove but they fixed it super fast and got to finish our breakfast in time for our White water Rafting trip we really recommend Nomads Rooms.

everything works, oh the air conditioning was very important for our end of March visit, also important to have fans. kitchen is fully eqipped and functional. the owner John is very nice and answered our questions and need timely.

“Good value for money in La Fortuna”

Communication was good. The apartment offered quite some room. Many things were basic but very fair value for money.

The accommodation was simple but sufficient for travelers arriving in the afternoon and leaving in the morning. Gufo is rather on the outskirts of the city, but it is within walking distance of a supermarket. For those who prefer to shop for food and cook in their own kitchen, this is a good location.

Very nice, we booked the family room and we had a lot of space and our own kitchen! Hot water in the shower, clean and nice. Even though it was a little distance from the main centre, it was absolutely walkable (we walked with heavy suitcases) and absolutely worth it for the price. The owner was really nice and easy to communicate with, and he gave us really good restaurant tips.

We loved to have our private kitchen. The location was good considering that the city center isn’t so fun anyway. The host was very friendly and helpful.

The accommodation is really very nice with good kitchen. Owner is responsive. There is A/C (but noisy!) in the room. It is close to town center but far enough to avoid "town night life" if you want.

Great location to drive to Arenal Volcano National Park and Misitico Hanging Bridges Park. The self-contained apartment was huge and it was absolutely immaculate. It was great to have the small kitchen separated from the rest of the apartment to prevent smell and heat from entering the main space. The kitchen had the basics including pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, and drinkware as well as hot plates, coffee machine, fridge, and microwave. The living room had a couch, dining bar with stool as well as a TV connected to Netflix. The bedroom was large, having 2 double bed. The A/C unit was located in the bedroom, but eventually cooled the entire apartment. Beds were comfortable and it was great to have 2 pillows. Having a fan in the living room helped spread the air. The bathroom was also large and the shower had luke warm water. Soap and towels were provided. WiFi worked so well. Walkable to a large grocery store. Longer walk to the town of La Fortuna, but it's possible; with a car it's a 2 min drive.

“Really confortable to stay with family”

The location is close to the central park(La Fortuna Center). There are supermarkets around so we didn't have to worry about anything cause the room is well-equipped.
