My youngest daughter was freaked out after waking up in bed surrounded by hundreds of ants, ending up with 28 bites, so that she had to sleep on the sofa downstairs for the rest of the holiday and never got a good night's sleep. There was also a bad ant problem in the upstairs hallway, upstairs and downstairs bathrooms, and in the kitchen around the microwave and sink. If you left anything on the floor overnight such as clothes, towels, tissues, bags, shoes, they would be covered by ants in the morning. After this, we ate out as much as possible to avoid attracting more ants and I had to wash all our clothes every night as they seemed to be attracted by the smell of our skin, which was a palava. Despite using insect spray, I had 56 bites to my legs by end of week and rest of my family had 20+ each just on our legs. The property manager could care less, suggesting my daughter had food or drink in her bed but she did not. Everywhere smelled badly of strong insecticide so they know there is an infestation, despite denying it. Zoom in on my photos to see 100+ dead ants on one of the beds where they were attracted by our clothes.

The location and terrace out the back is fantastic. It's amidst orange groves and the smell is amazing. Such a relaxing place. The kids loved the pool (we live by and swim in the North Sea and it was about the same temperature in April but that's fine for us). The house is large, spread over 2 floors and the downstairs is cool. It's a 15min walk to Fornalutx which has a great array of restaurants and a little grocery shop. Overall we had a great time thanks!

“Casa Cactus, a place to recommend”

The house is beautiful and very big for 3 people. Everything you need is available. A lot of privacy at the pool area and in the house. We also rented bikes via Biel that were dropped of and picked up at the house.
