“Lovely hosts and an ideal holiday spot in a pretty, quiet location.”
There was no breakfast but we chose to self cater. The village is pretty with a bakery next door and a lovely German restaurant 3 minutes walk away. There are beautiful walks around the lake and Forchheim town centre is less than half an hour's walk away through the park and over the motorway footbridge. I also enjoyed walks in the forest above Burk village. Nuremberg was an easy 30 minute car journey away and we parked simply within the old city - beautiful historic buildings and a thriving city centre to explore. The apartment was clean, warm and perfect for a quiet getaway. It was great to have a parking space away from the road. We appreciated the warm welcome and the late check in.
