Very welcoming proprietor, who gave a personal tour of the property included guest coffee lounge and jacuzzi, excellent after a 80 km cycle. Great swimming warm pool at 7 am. The evening dinner was excellent and great value all home cooked . A definite must .

The owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was beautifully furnished in an African theme and had comfortable beds We ljked the location, as the garden was secure, Access through a gate, so as we were travelling with our two dogs, we felt confident that they were safe in the property. Delicious breakfast served too. We would definitely stay there again.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms created a very restful atmosphere.

What a lovely place! We only stayed one night in typical autumn weather, but would love to return at a different time of year. Such warm and friendly hosts, gorgeous room and lovely breakfast.

The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. It was a real treat to have conversations with them over a complimentary pre supper drink. The swimming pool was excellent, long enough for a good swim both before dinner and breakfast. All the local restaurants were shut(France Sunday sigh) but the owners provided a ‘tray supper” which we and the other guest ate in the delightful breakfast room. It was delicious as was the wine they provided from the local chateau. The grounds are fantastic and the decor of the public rooms and the bedrooms thought through with real flair. Highly recommended.

“Oasis of sophisticated calm and charming attentive hosts”

This is a beautiful, lovingly refurbished stone house, that is tastefully decorated in the style of a well-travelled and sophisticated couple. Any and Sylvain were wonderful hosts given that we arrived very late and tired by bike. The Essaouira Room that we stayed in had a large comfortable bed, high vaulted ceilings, and a lovely walk-in shower. The breakfast was in an artfully designed space and included fresh produce, beautifully presented. They accommodated dietary requirements with no fuss and we regretted we hadn’t arrived earlier and stayed longer. They also had good secure accommodation for our bikes. The garden and separate outside areas are both very pretty and thoughtfully planned for guests. We hope to be back for a longer more relaxing stay!
