What’s not to like? Peaceful. Amazing gardens pool and facilities. Lovely host. Didn’t want to leave. Marie was lovely and very helpful. Even with my limited French. Property should be a four star and definitely increase those prices Marie!

Beautiful farmhouse renovated to high standard. Artistic with plenty of artwork/books to read. Pool was amazing. Heated. Immaculate clean. Setting within large interesting gardens. Host was lovely friendly informative and welcoming. Did amazing food platter on our arrival and breakfast exceptional

“Highly recommended”
We have stayed in numerous B&B's booked through Booking.com, La Loge du Grand Cèdre was perfect, probably the best we have stayed in. Marie and Bertrand were perfect hosts, breakfast was great, must get the recipe for Marie's oat and fruit cakes, not sure what the fruit was in them, but absolutely delicious. We were lucky to briefly witness deer in their garden, regrettably we didn't get to use the pool or tennis court, hopefully we will find time on our return

“Superb, relaxed, and a fabulous host.”
Everything. This is a stylish and comfortable home in a beautiful setting close to the lovely town of Saintes. Marie is a gracious and attentive host who has poured her soul into this gorgeous house and garden. We hope to return for a longer stay in better weather. Take time to walk the meadow, where I found orchids growing as I was accompanied by one of the cats. A visit to the revered cedar, Celeste, from whom the the 'Loge' takes its name, is a must. Highly recommended breakfast and the room was very comfortable. Merci Marie. Á la prochaine!

“Perfect stay”
The house was incredibly beautiful and in a perfect location. Marie was such a welcoming and accommodation host and we were made to feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The gardens were beautiful, the breakfast delicious and the pool was the perfect extra touch. We will definitely stay again.
