Our favourite place to stay on this stretch of the Camino Frances in the peaceful setting of Fonfria! The friendliest of welcomes from Lola and Miguel. Prior to arriving there was a welcome email with information and a link needed for check-in. The accommodation was great, comfy bed, lovely showers; the facilities were excellent all round. The food was delicious, the local cheese, made literally next door was just divine.

“Beautiful place to rest while doing Camino”
Our stay here while doing the Camino was perfect. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely en-suite. I availed of a massage which was fantastic just what I needed after all the days walking. We had communal dinner which I would highly recommend, it was delicious.

“Great accommodation and food right on the Camino”
Beautiful farming town. Comfortable beds and a great bathroom. They do a good breakfast from 7am and dinner. We also had local cheese and local honey - what a treat.

Everything was brilliant, from the welcoming staff to the great room, the amazing Pilgrim dinner and the camaraderie by all made it a great stay! Also great that we could order a coffee and breakfast before heading out.

“Casa Nunez is beyond expectation, you will like it.”
They have a good communal dinner. Their dining room is very cozy and nice. Miguel and his wife were very helpful, he have a taxi which is very handy.

“Superb experience not to be missed”
Very warm welcome. Clean comfortable and bright modern room with ensuite. Everything you need to recover from a hard dusty day on the Camino. The location is right on the road. There are laundry facilities on site as well as a great bar/cafe and hangout areas. The communal meal was absolutely fantastic and should not be missed, it has been the highlight of our Camino so far, the atmosphere and presentation was superb. We also had the breakfast which was very good. Would highly recommend .
