The other volunteers were very kind, available to help and their "family style" created a good vibe. Ari in particular who welcomed me, also provided great tips for hikes. The hostel is conveniently located with a supermarket and the bus terminal at around 5 min walking distance (particularly useful to get around to the islands). The shared living room is very spacious and the garden is also just cool to chill.

One of those places where you arrive not knowing anyone and leave with new friends. Relaxed during the day, more social in the evening. Simple facilities but everything works and is clean. Great value overall.

“Fun and good to easy other people”
The facilities were very good. They had calisthenics equipment outside, a pool table and a ping pong table. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the cleanliness was spot on as well

We loved our stay - the staff, volunteers and other guests were very welcoming and helpful (shout out to Salvador!), everyone is very respectful, there's plenty of common area space which is comfortable, the kitchen is good, the bathrooms were clean (and even though the main bathrooms are unisex there is a female only shower available), the room was comfortable, towels are included. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The hostel is great for those who need to work remotely. It has a quiet space with good facilities. The beds are also super comfortable and have curtains, which gives more privacy. Excellent value for money!

“Floripa state of mind”
The staff at Nomades was just lovely. Every time I needed help with something they were ready to find immediately a solution. The location is just 10 minutes walking from the main Bus station.
