Dating back to the 16th century, Palazzo Tolomei is a historic building featuring elegant lounges with free coffee and pastries, original frescoes, and Renaissance art works. The Cathedral is 350 metres away, and you can walk to Santa Maria Novella Train Station in 8 minutes. “Elegant & easy”
Location was exceptional, rooms were beautiful and the hotel common areas (receptions, Reading room etc) had beautiful ceiling paintings. Would definitely stay here again!

“Dream come true!!”
No matter how much I talk about this place, it simply wouldn’t be enough. The history and beauty of this palace and most importantly the host, Daniela❤️ The warmest welcome, it was like we were staying at our grandma’s home🥹 She even upgraded our room the last day to the most amazing room I have ever seen in my life. It was literally like a dream. For your honeymoon or your anniversary, this is the place to stay without any hesitation. The only sad thing was that we couldn’t stay longer❤️

I loved the hospitality shown by the staff, especially Daniela. The room was amazing, very spacious. The decoration and the frescoes were marvelous. As passionate readers of italian renaissance history, it was a dream come true to stay at the palace with my partner. I highly recommend it!

“Perfecto !!”
This property is amazing you’re pretty much staying in a palace and the history is related to some of the most prominent families in Italian history such as the Medici family and renaissance artist Rafaello, the host Daniella and Ricardo are amazing the recommendations they provided only enhanced the trip, all the staff were friendly and very courteous! Highly recommend

We had a fantastic stay at the Grand Hotel in downtown Florence. The staff were friendly and attentive, and our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel owner was incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel’s central location made it perfect for exploring the city. Highly recommend!

The host Daniele was very friendly! We were warmly welcomed and informed about everything important. The room in the Palazzo was exactly as we had imagined: high rooms, beautiful ceiling paintings, a lot of attention was paid to loving details. Authentic and right in the center of the beautiful city of Florence. Beautiful and romantic! We also had a great breakfast!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were there for our 50th wedding anniversary and were given a fabulous room. The palazzo was situated in a very good position for all the best attractions.

“3 nights in the wonderful city of Florence”
Such a fabulous , historic place to stay. Very central, just a few minutes walk from the station and the centre of Florence. We were upgraded and had n amazing room. Everything clean. Daniela is absolutely wonderful and so helpful if you have any questions. Breakfast currently being served in a restaurant nearby but was good. Would highly recommend for something special.

One of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. They upgraded us to one of their most beautiful suites “just because”, and it was the most medical place I’ve ever been! Insane attention to detail as well, amazing accents and facilities in the room, complementary items that really enhanced the trip, air conditioning, perfect location. We cannot WAIT to come back. Daniela and Riccardo were the absolute sweetest, and we are still thinking about them!!

The location was amazing ,and the Palazzo was really beautiful with amazing frescos on the ceilings. The breakfast was lovely but a bit too much food for us .
