Welcoming and helpful staff. Very clean and well decorated throughout. Very pleasant surroundings - garden area and interior lounge with books and magazines. Felt looked after and had all amenities in the room that we could have wanted. It is a half hour walk to the city centre but we were happy to be away from the bustling city and visit the superb local restaurants recommended by the hotel.

Absolutely perfect location, as it was within walking distance of the main city centre but far enough away from the crowds and loud noises. The breakfast was delicious with a large variety of sweet and savoury, and the spa facilities were absolutely beautiful. The staff were helpful and provided me with local and authentic restaurants in the area. I would love to stay here again when I return to Florence :)

“Beware of the ”deluxe” and ”design” suites”

We booked the Junior Deluxe Suite and became very disappointed when we saw the room. For that price you would expect a luxurious suite with nice interior. However the room looked more like a cheap hostel with basic Ikea furniture cramped together in a small space. The room was also dark (no natural light) and smelled like an old basement. It's insane to call that room a "Deluxe Suite". We did find the staff nice and helpful and they offered us to switch room and have some extra spa time, however we still payed a huge overprice and wished we would have booked another hotel. Breakfast was fine but nothing special, some basic things were missing in the rooms like for example way too few closet hangers and the air conditioner was not functioning. Also what looked like classy and beautiful parquet inside the rooms turned out to be cheap laminate flooring. Overall this hotel is more like a three star hotel.

Everything was great, but the two Alessandro in the resepction were amazing and helpful!

Nice spa, breakfast !

The cleanliness of the hotel was first class. The spa was great . Staff very helpful . Hotel room was lovely and the garden was beautiful .

The receptionist, Juan, was not helpful. I received a message before arrival confirming that I would have a room on a higher floor, but upon check-in, I was given one on the first floor without any explanation or apology. The breakfast was also disappointing, with limited options and poor quality.
