STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL ! We had a nightmare stay at this hotel and we want to warn all future guests. UNBEARABLE NOISE : From the very first night, we were subjected to unbearable noise. And for good reason: the wall separating our room from the neighbouring one isn’t a proper wall, it’s just a plasterboard partition that was clearly added as an afterthought. You literally feel as though you’re sleeping in the same room as your neighbours. If they have children who cry, as was the case with us, you’re in for a rough time. Imagine this: you’ve been sightseeing in Florence all day, you’re exhausted, all you want is to rest… and it’s impossible. Three sleepless nights out of a four-day stay. 75% of our trip completely ruined. We reported the problem to reception on the very first night. The result? Nothing. Second night, same story. The management finally replied: “We can’t do anything about it.” This is unacceptable. We have videos that prove everything we’re describing. OUT-OF-ORDER ELECTRICAL SOCKETS : The sockets in our room didn’t work at all. We had to share a single socket for three days. This was reported to the hotel. They ‘took note’. Nothing more. HORRIBLY DIRTY BATHROOMS : We stayed in two different rooms during our stay (following a change we requested due to noise). Both bathrooms were in a deplorable state of cleanliness. The photos speak for themselves. ARROGANT AND UNEMPATHETIC MANAGEMENT : But the worst part was the management’s response to our complaints. After trying everything to resolve the situation amicably and politely requesting a partial refund, here is the response from the manager, Domenico: “If you think leaving negative reviews will satisfy you, go ahead. We will respond accordingly.” No empathy. No goodwill gesture. No professionalism. Just arrogance. Plasterboard partitions, faulty sockets, dirty bathrooms, unmanaged noise pollution and incompetent management: this hotel is riddled with faults yet never takes responsibility.
