“TERRIBLE, RIDICULOUS, COSTLY FOR NOTHING! AVOID IT!”
Worst experience ever. We stayed at the airbnb of this clinic and it's the worst. Expected Spa, private pool, privacy and an amazing weekend that just turned into an expensive nightmare. We chose the place for its peacefulness, big house, private pool and spa. But ended up getting nothing or almost nothing of it. First of all; there was no spa available because "it's October". Though on booking.com it was clearly mentioned that there would be a spa available. Then the pool, apparently the pool is only private during weekends. Also you can't just jump right in when you want, cause you have to book it in, with the host. Also this was not mentioned in the description. No jacuzzi, only outside; and not available. Then about the privacy: we were walking in the kitchen, suddenly hearing voices, and to our suprise! People sitting in the garden, chilling. Very weird. Lastly, the extra, hidden, not mentioned, costs. Not just simple taxes, but a great amount of money: around 120 or 140 euros if not more. After some arguing we ended up paying 100 euros. Which is still ridiculous. (Towel fees, taxes (that you already pay on booking.com), cleaning fees (I believe 80 euros)). Also very funny; you pay 80 euros for cleaning fees, but you have to help the lady remove all the bedsheets and put it in some basket, as well as the towels. It's not necessarily a problem to help the host but when you pay so much for a stay + a ridiculous amount of cleaning fees, you don't expect to help someone out with cleaning. So overall terrible, absolutely terrible. It was the worst experience ever. If you travel to the Ardennes for a peaceful experience, avoid this place at all costs! (When you enter the house it's clean and the kitchen/bathroom is good, Though I think they forgot to move out.)
