We had a wonderful stay at this charming mountain hotel. The room was small, but very cozy, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was the brilliant pool, which offered a fantastic place to unwind while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile and making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The breakfast was sufficient and provided everything we needed to start the day. Overall, a lovely experience, and we would happily return.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The location is excellent, close to the lake, beautiful hiking trails, and not far from the Grand Canyon of Switzerland, making it a perfect base for outdoor activities. Breakfast was good and satisfying, though not particularly exceptional.

Wonderful hotel with beautiful architecture! Room was really pretty and comfortable, very clean and quiet. Very nice touch with the lovely teas available and sweet complimentary cake. Breakfast was super diverse and delicious. Finally the spa was amazing! Lots of equipment, calm and comfortable. There is also a rooftop with incredible views . We loved our stay here and will definitely come back!!

The hotel has a beautiful retro design and atmosphere (if that’s your style). We felt like we would go back in time. A very very nice breakfast buffet with a great selection of food options. A big big plus for a selection of local produce - both the selection of cheese and meat was extremely delicious. If you enjoy healthy juices, the ones offered during breakfast will be perfect for you especially the carrot and apple cold pressed juice was super tasty and nutritious. Very good bar both serving classic cocktails as well as tailored made drinks and local selection of alcohol. A super nice selection of saunas with a great design of the spa area. Plus for the amazing viewing terrace on top of the hotel - we really loved it. We don’t understand why spa is until 8pm and swimming pool until 10pm as after whole day in the snow and grabbing some food an evening ended in saunas would be perfect. Restaurant is also open until 20:30. No room service available. The room was quite cramped yes we must admit we had a great view on the mountains however the mattress was definitely too soft and too short by at least 10cm on each side. Uncomfortable cushions. The towels to the spa area that we received also looked like taken out from a grandmas wardrobe from 20years ago.The tv screen is at least 10 years old and hardly bigger than a laptop screen. I don’t see a reason why you wouldn’t place even a normal sized tv in front of the bed. The rooms are very noisy that so I heard the neighbours snoring from the room beside us. The room had no kettle, tea or coffee or even water to drink which is a standard even in 3 star hotels or motels. The hotel wants to be eco friendly. We get it, however it’s not. Please stop. To begin with the hotel states that the mini bar is on demand due to eco reasons of not cooling the items that perhaps you won’t eat or drink. That’s funny as the refrigerator was on 24/7 cranked up to number 5 (maximum) as we checked. Where is the ecology in that?

This was our 4th visit to this hotel, we love to come here and this was the first time in winter for Christmas. They put on a beautiful Christmas and the spa is just so beautiful since the renovation. Really dog friendly and just picture perfect setting.

“A Relaxing Stay with Stunning Views and Great Amenities”

We had an amazing time at this hotel and were able to truly relax. The spa area, including the indoor pool, is top-notch. The restaurant and bar offer incredible food and drinks. Our room had a stunning view, and to our pleasant surprise, the prices for the quality food and drinks were quite reasonable. Another highlight is the 360 view from the rooftop, as well as the convenient walking distance to Lake Cauma.

- beautiful hotel inside and out, with an eye for details - amazing breakfast buffet in a very nice dining hall - the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable - thank you for everything! - location is good, close to the Caumasee and to the cable cars so great to explore from there - saunas are beautiful, with a forest view
