Beautifully situated by the Aurland Fjord, Flåm Hostel offers free parking and rooms with private or shared bathroom facilities. Flåm Train Station and Ferry Terminal are 300 metres away. Facilities at Hostel Flåm include a guest kitchen, laundry room and a kiosk. Guests can relax in the garden which includes a children’s playground. The staff can help to arrange kayak rentals and tours on the UNESCO-listed Nærøy Fjord. Hiking and biking are also popular activities in the area. The staff are happy to suggest other activities in the area. The Navvies’ Bicycle Road is 300 metres away from Flåm Hostel, while Flåm Railway Museum is 600 metres away. The 12th century Undredal Stave Church is a 15-minute drive away.

“Quite enough, in the nature”
We were 4 people (my wife and my 2 suns (12-14) We stayed 2 nights. There were 2 bunks and a private bathroom in our room. It was a small room but has enough space and clean. It was quite adequate for the price. Normally it's a hostel, You make the sheets, duvet covers, etc. yourself but beds were comfortable. The cafe in front was the busiest spot in Flam.

“Great value, clean and comfortable”
Never stayed in a hostel before so expected basic but everything was great - comfy beds, peace and quiet, exceptionally clean and helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone staying in Flam which can be quite an expensive place to stay!

This is a camping/hostel like place, with wooden cabins and places for tents/cars. Bathroom facilities are shared. The house (wooden cabin) was great for us, had heating, eating area (table with chairs), a stove for heating water. There is no running water in the cabin, but you can take it from an outside tap. We had to to put on/off the bed-linens ourselves. Shared bathroom was clean and nice. I've meet no other guest during my usage. The surroundings are great, in the heart of the nature, but still 5-10 minutes walk to Flam center. Considering the price (and other options), I can recommend this place.

I really wanted to love this place because the setup is quite nice, but the lack of cleanliness held it back. We encountered some bugs, and the kitchen tools were dirty enough that we had to wash them before use. On the positive side, the fresh linen they handed us was clean, however, the mattress covers underneath did not look well-maintained. Hostels can be basic, but they still need to be clean.

Check in at 1.30is perfect for train arrival. Less than 10 min walk and check in was friendly and fast

Good pizza restaurant which is open til 2200. Probably the latest place in Flåm. Good to know if you go for a late sauna which is recommended

“Good Youth Hostel to spend a night”
good as a Youth hostel with Big kitchen with plenty of pots, pans and plates for many to work at once but we were early starters so we were done ahead of time. Nice view all around ..
