“I loved this place so much that I inquired about extending my stay, but it was already booked!”

The location of this Apartment is simply amazing. The Harbour is literally down the street in one direction, along with the outstanding Bryggan Cafe Restaurant Bar and other dining and drinking options (although I was there in the off season and didn't mind that several places were closed as plenty was still available), the COOP Supermarket is just as close in another direction and everything in Fjällbacka and the apartment has almost all of the appliances and cooking equipment etc that you could need. (A heads up for ANZ travellers, Espresso machines are not as widespread in Sweden as they are in our region and there isn't one here, there is a filter coffee machine and a kettle, but you will need to go to the cafes for anything like a latte etc - thankfully, less than 200 metres walk and right by the water...) Although I didn't get to meet the hosts (due to roadworks delaying me between Jönköping and Fjällbacka) Thomas was amazingly friendly, responsive and helpful (not to mention infinitely patient) with anything I needed to ask via messages. I will also say that the photos of the property on booking.com do not do it justice... If anything, they understate just how nice this apartment is.

“A wonderful short stay in Fjallbacka.”

This was an excellent place to stay, situated close to the centre of Fjallbacka and in a beautiful part of Sweden. Having parking on-site was a real boon. The apartment was very well-equipped, clean and tidy, and tastefully furnished. Two suggestions for improvement 1) a kettle for tea drinkers and 2) put a house number on/close to the door to make it easier to find! (We phoned the owner for advice, and she was very helpful).
