“We struck gold with this apartment and with Gabby as our host!”

We genuinely felt like we'd struck gold with this holiday. The apartment couldn't have been better - facilities and location - and neither could our host Gabby. Gabby met us with keys on arrival but had been hugely helpful even before then, sorting our airport transfer, allowing us to check-in early and sending information about things we might like to do in the area. That hospitality continued throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Gabby who went over and above to make sure we had the best holiday possible, including providing a quick tour of the town at the start, to introduce us to all the key venues and people. The apartment itself was fabulous. Occupying the top two floors of Gabby's historic family home in the approach to the main part of Fiskardo's harbour, the interior is very comfortable and well equipped (from extensive kitchen equipment, quality washing machine (with washing liquid and conditioner), effective air conditioning upstairs and down, and even to plug-in insect repellent devices for bedrooms (complete with refill tablets). However, the best aspect of this property has to be its location, exceptionally close to the harbour (2mins walk to shops, restaurants and bars) offering great views of it as well as beyond, to the neighbouring island of Ithaki. Making the most of the location, the apartment's extensive balcony has to be THE BEST in town. With a large table and chairs as well as sun loungers, you could spend your whole time (though please don't because the rest of the sights are great!) just 'people and yacht watching' with a backdrop to die for. Finally, although we hadn't planned on hiring a car, I'm glad we did for the middle 5 days. It was relatively cheap and easy to arrange in Fiskardo, parking was always available very near the apartment, and we'd have missed some fantastic sights on the island (e.g. Assos, Myrtos Beach, Caves around Sami, etc) if we hadn't bothered.

Wonderful location with great views over the entrance to Fiskardo harbour. Restaurants, shops (including supermarket), beaches and activities all very close. Parking not a problem either.

Perfect position in Fiskardo. Spacious terrace and two storied house with everything thought of for guests comfort. Host was thoughtful, friendly and had genuine concern that her guests were happy.

Unbelievable location in the heart of Fiscardo with the most exceptional views. The terrace is divine. Overlooking the harbour - you can’t beat it. We would have late afternoon wine watching the boats come in. The apartment is also very well equipped and a great size.

Wow the balcony is amazing sitting on it and watching the boats enter the Fiscardo bay, Gabbie was fantastic she made us feel so welcome and nothing was to much trouble. The beds were really comfortable and it was so close to everything and is a great base for the North of Kefalonia, when we come back we’re staying here

Amazing and well equipped balcony terrace with stunning views of the harbour so we could watch the yachts coming and going. The owner was there to greet us and nothing was too much trouble. A spacious and light apartment which is only a short stroll into Fiskardo with all its numerous boutique shops and restaurants.

The apartment is spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and spacious. The air conditioning works really well and the beds are comfortable. The apartment is in a fantastic location and the balcony view is amazing. We loved our time here. The owner lives downstairs and is very helpful and friendly. Fabulous waterfront property very close to the harbour.

We had a lovely family week here. Everything you needed was supplied and the bonus was that Gabriella lives on and comes from Kefalonia and she showed us where all the good spots were ! I would recommend this flat 110%. We will be back.

ביקורת לפיסקרדו: Gabriella's hospitality was outstanding. She was extremely helpful in showing us around the village, helping out booking taxis and with everything we needed in the apartment. The apartment itself is very spacious, equipped with air conditioning, a washing machine, a kitchen two bathrooms and has a fantastic location: two-minute walk from everything in the village, with amazing views over the harbor and Ithaki. Altogether, our experience was complete, and we would love to return.
