“The perfect ending to our Albania trip”

We chose Tringa Guesthouse primarily because of its proximity to Mrizi i Zanave, one of Albania’s most renowned agritourism restaurants. What we expected to be a convenient overnight stay turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, Silvan and Arjola made us feel genuinely welcome. Our room was comfortable and beautifully maintained, and the balcony offered great views of the surrounding mountains. The real highlight came the following morning. Breakfast was exceptional: fresh eggs, vegetables, juice, coffee, and the most delicious petulla (traditional Albanian fried dough), all prepared with ingredients sourced directly from the farm. It was also when we met Diana, a truly wonderful person whose joy and warmth are impossible to miss. Although she speaks very little English, Arjola was always there to translate. That said, Diana’s smile, energy, and kindness communicate more than words ever could. After breakfast, Diana and Arjola kindly gave us a tour of the farm. We met the animals, explored the vegetable gardens and tasted fresh fruits from the trees. They shared how the farm operates, its connection to the nearby restaurant, and the history of the region. Tringa Guesthouse offers much more than a place to stay… it provides a genuine glimpse into Albanian hospitality, culture, and rural life. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Arjola, our host was amazing. She welcomed us warmly, with a cold local juice, was extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful with information about everything we asked about, even after we had left her place. Wonderful guesthouse, tucked away in a charming little village! If you are passing through the area, it is definitely worth staying for a few nights. I wish I could have stayed longer. Ariola is the kind, accommodating sister you wish you had, Diana is the loving, caring mother you wish you had, and Silvan is the handy, helpful brother you wish you had. This place is perfect. Ideal location as being quiet, beautiful and a wonderful Albanian experience. Rooms were rustic and modern and everything you would need. A welcome drink on arrival and they cater for your every need. Nature is all around you. Breakfast was perfect and coffee served outside after if weather permits. Hosts are very welcoming and there was nothing not to like. This place is in the middle of nowhere with Mrizi just a short walk away. One of the best places I have stayed in Albania from someone who has visited Albania for that past 30 years!

An exceptional stay from start to finish. The owners were truly superb—warm, attentive, and offering outstanding hospitality that made us feel completely at home. The guesthouse is modern, with beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable rooms. The farm is absolutely spectacular, adding a peaceful and unique charm to the whole experience. Breakfast was delicious, served with fresh local products that made it even more special. They also kindly arranged horse riding for us, which was a fantastic experience. This is a place you simply cannot miss visiting— I would defintely recommend it to everyone.

The best B&B we ever visited anywhere in the world. They deserve 100/10 rate. It's a family business with a farm on site, all food is their own local produce. The rooms are neat, the family is amazingly welcoming and service oriented. After a great breakfast they took us to the farm to see the animals and it's such a lovely experience. We enjoyed our stay so much, shame we didn't have more nights to spend there. Highly recommended.

I had an excellent stay at Tringa Guesthouse in Fishte. The entire family who runs the guesthouse were incredibly warm, welcoming, and hardworking, paying attention to every little detail to make sure we felt comfortable. The place was spotless, very clean, and had a cosy atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to spend time in the countryside and still feel like home. Amazing for those traveling with kids too.

Clean and very cozy with super comfortable wooden beds. The welcome coffee and rakija were a lovely touch. The homemade breakfast was amazing—rich, fresh, and truly authentic. The kids especially enjoyed the animals on the farm. The owners were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home.

“Cozy, comfy and friendly”

Owners are super kind and accommodating, like staying with old friends. We arrived cold and tired and had a large thermos of hot tea, baklava and oranges to make us feel better. Breakfast is all from their farm. Location is in idyllic village where the only thing to wake you up in the sounds of roosters in the morning. Easy 5 minute walk to Mrizi restaurant which is the big draw for this area.
