Tt was a homely albergue. The staff were very helpful and lovely. The location was very good.

Perfect room with roof terrace, The owners are so friendly and helpful to everybody. Breakfast so good with home made brioche.

It was fine. It's an albergue. It's very basic, yet reasonably priced, accommodation. There is a kitchen and the bunks had lockers, which are excellent.

We had the top room. Loved the big private terrace with fabulous views. Comfortable bed and spacious room. The staff were lovely and helpful. It was a great place to base ourselves to go walking the surrounding coastline.

Nice hotel in the centre with very friendly staff. The suite is great; very spacious and with a large terrace with a beautiful view over the sea.

I had a single room. It was small but excellent. The bathroom was very well equipped. The first time in Spain that provided a bath mat.

Location was good, close to bus stop (to Santiago), supermarket. Staff was mopping frequently after people used shower and let the curtain dry for next person.

“An excellent Albergue style property in Muxia”

Cabo da Vila is an exceptional place to stay in Muxia. The beds are cabin style with a curtain plug point and light. The showers and toilets are accessible and the property has a lift. Access was easy and communication with the host was excellent.

“Don’t overlook this great hostel”

Staff are very nice- despite it being a hostel there’s a lot of privacy between the bunks. Showers, kitchen facilities, everything good- has a nice area to sit and chat with other pilgrims- they feed the stray cats outside which shows to me that they care- they do a communal breakfast

“A hidden gem of the camino”

We had the top floor room, superb harbour views, low but with electric kettle and use of good albergue kitchen, so vegetarian not an issue. Valentina very friendly and helpful.

The attitude of the employee, she didn't let me heat up the food, she said time is up and you need to leave the premises, during my pilgrimage to Santiago for 45 days I was in more than 40 albergues and I didn't have such an attitude in any of them, even in municipal ones you could negotiate with such angry employees, but here she surpassed them all put together, I don't recommend this place as long as such an employee works there. We asked her if we could only heat up the food in the microwave and leave, but she said no!!! You know, there was an unpleasant aftertaste - no, I don't recommend this place.
