“A lovely stay in the host's own home - a refreshing change from all those chain hotels”
This is the kind of bed and breakfast stay we used to enjoy here in the UK but which seems to have died out. You stay in the host's own home and sleep in her spare bedroom with your own private bathroom (not ensuite) - and enjoy breakfast in her dining/living room surrounded by the things she has collected and created over the years. A real taste of France. The room was extremely clean; the bed comfortable; the bathroom tastefully decorated and clean with a good shower and the breakfast very tasty and enjoyable, Our host had provided water; fruit and biscuits in the room - a real bonus. Maryse is a lovely, interesting woman and a talented artist - and was a pleasure to meet.

“A warm welcome to a place of comfort and beauty.”
The breakfast was delicious. The host was very welcoming, and the room was very well-appointed. We were provided with a refreshing drink, fruit, and cookies upon arrival. The room also included a small balcony.

“We didn’t stay and moved to another hotel!”
It was impossible to find, it said there were city views, a terrace…and the room was in someone’s apartment!
