Breakfast was great. There is an excellent restaurant at the hotel. The owners Yves and Margrit are both really friendly and helpful.

The food is simply wonderful! Even if you are not staying at the hotel, the restaurant is really worth a visit. Yves, the chef and owner, is preparing the food with excellent ingredients and passion. From the „welcome from the kitchen“ to the dessert, all the meals were tasty and nicely presented. All that served in a very professional and friendly way by Margrit, Yves‘ wife. If you are staying at the hotel, you will enjoy a great breakfast with local products and preparations done by Margrit.

A lovely hotel surrounded by so much Alpine beauty. The staff were exceptionally good and very professional. The quality of the food in the breakfast and restaurant evening dinner was excellent. Thoroughly clean and tastefully organised and decorated - a very pleasant atmosphere.

Hotel tucked away at a now defunct railway station, so it has a slightly "off the beaten track" feel - which for me was positive. The view from the room was great, and there were few formalities. Breakfast (by which I always judge a place) was simple but excellent. (I recommend Margrit's Birchermüseli)

Wonderful location in the heart of numerous hiking areas, just 5 minutes from the railway/bus/cable car station. Room spacious and spotlessly clean, with a balcony. Soundproofing OK. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant of the property is quite pricy, but the quality was also excellent. The selection of dishes is somewhat limited. Note it is closed on Sunday evenings Overall, very good impression. We will certainly come back.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. We regretted not having be able to dine and wine there, I am sure it must be outstanding. The hosts are extremly nice and helped us to have the most comfortable stay. Welcoming, open and flexible we stayed a night longer and enjoyed the the prolonged time-out.
