It was my second time here and most likely not the last. Its central location is wonderful and I had everything I needed for a short ski holidays.

The room was spacious and very comfortable, the owner and staff were delightful and our evening meal was delicious.

This historic hotel has been restored with care and flair by its current owners. Centrally located and just a short walk from the lift station, secure parking is conveniently opposite. The young and enthusiastic staff, particularly Stefan, Reuban and Israel were exceptionally charming. Stefan's take on a Negroni was particularly inspired! The restaurant boasts a diverse menu featuring local specialities with the "Cholera" being a must try. We ate in the restaurant every night of our three night stay. The wine list offers a good selection of both local and international wines. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of options. My only regret is not taking advantage of the spa and available treatments. Overall , this hotel is an excellent base for exploring the beautiful Aletsch Arena and the Valais region.

The location is perfect. Very walkable from the train station and just up from the river, which gave nice white noise at night. The breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant on site is also superb. I made good use of the yoga mat in my room each morning--a very nice touch. I will certain stay here again.

We booked it last minute, reception is open till 23 and if you arrive later they will arrange something for you. Location is really pretty, surrounded by mountains and lake. You could use the jacuzzi with a view, so nice. Staff were extremely helpful, upgraded bc there were some rooms left from the day. It was beyond our expectations, parking is cheap as well(5chf) Very comfortable rooms, with the sound of streams of the rivers if you open the window. Quiet and peaceful at night, comfortable beds too.

A perfect stay to stay and discover the area. We were so kindly welcomed, went to our room and fell in love with that historic house. I really liked the stores about former guests and couldn’t stop reading them. Our room was perfect and I love that the old style is combined with modern one. We recommend having dinner there - really delicious. In the morning we could sit outside and enjoyed a perfect breakfast . Thanks for such a great stay

“Comfortable stay for a ski trip in Fieschalp”

I stayed here during my skiing trip to Fieschalp and Eggishorn. The location was very convenient, just a short walking distance from the cable car. The hotel has a lot of history and tradition, but at the same time offers modern amenities like a spa and water massage. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here for my next ski trip.

We originally planned to stay in Zermatt, but due to a recent storm, we had to change our plans and ended up booking at the DU GLACIER Hotel in Fiesch — and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself is modern and cozy on the inside, with beautiful surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel welcome right away. One of the highlights was definitely the jacuzzi on the balcony — enjoying a warm soak with a drink from the bar in hand while looking out at the mountain views was pure bliss. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide selection of fresh and tasty options to start the day right. We highly recommend the Glacier Hotel to anyone visiting the area — it truly deserves 10 stars! Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

“Amazing historic hotel, loved it!”

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Du Glacier! A gem in the Goms valley. The personnel are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located a few minutes from the station and the Gondola that connects you with the ski lifts. We loved the Jacuzzi with a view, the great breakfast and the beautiful surrounding nature. Thanks for a great stay, highly recommend.
