The kitchen is excellent for a budget trip cooking your own food. The location was perfectly in between Kicking Horse, Lake Louise, and Banff.

“An amazing and memorable stay”

This was BY FAR the cleanest and best accommodation on our 4 week Canada trip. Great furniture, great tv, great kitchen and just a cozy place. Simply amazing after a day of hiking. Great location, pretty much in the middle of everything, yet nothing too close. Banff, Lake Louise, Peyto Lake and Takakkaw Falls are all easily reachable. If you stay here, eat at the truffle pigs bistro. It‘s really good. You may have to wait for a table though. Luc, the host, is super friendly and everything went great. We fell in love with canada and luc’s place. We will be back as soon as we can.

Friendly host with clear communication, in a small cute town close to both Lake Louise and a couple of attractions in Yoho NP. Really comfortable room, beautifully decorated, has a cooking hob for simple cooking.

“Field is a hidden gem”

The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Field is such a wonderful small town, and perfectly located to explore Yoho National Park. Luc, the host, was friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.

Exceptional. The room had everything we needed and more, you can tell Luc has really thought of everything and genuinely cares about his guests holiday, even down to the thick toilet paper (not the wafer thin type you get at most hotels!). The town of Field is a fantastic alternative to Lake Louise/Banff/Golden and Luc’s place has everything you need to be comfortable for a short (or long!) stay. 11/10 would recommend.

“Wonderful stay”

Great facilities. Fully equipped kitchen including tea and coffee, as well as a hot plate for cooking. Fire place and tv were great. Bathroom was clean and high quality. Very comfy bed and sofa, as well as small seating area for dining and outside sitting area.

We loved the Canadian Rockies Inn! It was clean, had a well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. Luc is very helpful regarding trails and what to see. He loaned us a cooler for our trip to the ice fields , so we could keep our food cool. Luc taught us far more about using and storing bear spray than the sports store who sold it to us. Thanks for everything Luc!

Very modern and comfortable apartment with everything you need to cook. Friendly host who gave us recommendations on hikes and lent us bear spray and an air horn free of charge. Would definitely stay again!

The location, the cleanliness, the decor. The accommodation was immaculately clean, fully equipped and very comfortable. Luc, the owner, was very friendly and very helpful. Field is great for visiting Lake Louise, Wapta Falls, Emerald Lake and Takkakaw Falls. The area is spectacularly beautiful. There is an excellent information centre in Field too.

Easily accessible, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Luc the owner was very friendly and helpful. Also very knowledgeable about the local area and provided a klaxon, bear spray and advice on how to use these if necessary.

Great location inside the park, a little shorter to some lakes than if you come from banff directly. You have a lot of space in the apartment and also a fridge to keep your snacks and breakfast cool.

I cannot say enough good things about what an Excellent host that Luc was to my husband and I ☺️. He was very respectful, kind and visited with us to see if we needed anything or had any questions. We wanted to visit with Luc and ask him questions about the area..its Fascinating..such Incredible history 😲😄. The suite had Everything we could possibly need..and more! All of the little extra touches like a timed heater in the bathroom, tiny bottles of lotion and shampoo/conditioner and even had a sweet welcome sign on the door 💜. This place was immaculate, very modern, extremely comfortable and we had the Best time!!! Absolutely we would book here again!!
